- Well + AwayMarch 31, 2016It's all about the yuba-filled noodle dishes and veggie sides. What OTD is missing in waterfront views it makes up for in its feel like a local vibe. Read more
- Javier Cambon SanjurjoDecember 6, 2014Yummy chicken clay pot, imperial rolls and papaya salad. Wine is great, I love the concept of taps. Very loud though.
- Doug de WetAugust 6, 2016The grapefruit and jicama salad is juicy and refreshing, a great light entree or shared starter.
- Undecided between American and Asian brunch items? Don’t be, have both. Pancakes, porridge, spring rolls, imperial rolls, grilled pork rice plate, and pho are all so good. Pair with a French press
- Joe RizkFebruary 16, 2015The shaking beef has a lot of flavor and is a good portion. Doesn't come with a starch though so try to fill up on the excellent dumplings first

- Olivia RhinehartJuly 25, 2015Sit at the bar to watch the chefs work their magic. Great date spot- split a few different dishes and try the local wine on tap. Clay pot chicken is a must.
- cyn kAugust 17, 2011less pretentious and cheaper than the original slanted door. i highly recommend the spring rolls, papaya salad, and crab noodles.
- Sara CJanuary 1, 2016delicious comfort food x a trillion. The way the service runs may feel a little questionable at times but they are nice and it is worth it.
- Nicky LonborgSeptember 5, 2014Favourite lunch to go. Sandwiches are amazing. Love the 5 spice chicken & the roast pork sandwich. They are huge & so flavourful!
- Keyue BaoApril 7, 2019Good but nothing special. We ordered beef pho and five spice pork belly, the pho broth tasted strongly of anise and the pork belly was quite charred on the outside. Seasoning is great though, pricey.
- Jennifer KrinkeJanuary 31, 2018Steamed Chicken Bun, Spring Roll, mango salad and Crab noodles. Very fresh and well balanced taste.
- Sydney MFebruary 24, 2018More low-key version of the Slanted Door. My fave veggie summer rolls are still offered :)
- Their congee (rice porridge) is SO great! To eat like a Thai, ask for an extra egg, cooked a la sous vide. You'll love it even more!
- Julia KNovember 21, 2013The Brussels sprouts are like delicious candy veggies - if only I had this version as a kid I might have not flushed my mom's down the toilet.
- Kimberly TruongAugust 7, 2017Got the fried chicken and the siracha butter sauce was amazing! Overall, it was nice, but it was very loud.
- Anita YuemingJanuary 2, 2016Had a vegetarian mung bean dumplings and a crispy roll, both super delicious!
- If we could have Chinese donut as dessert and condense milk to dip it with, this place will be the most awesome place for brekkie. #asianway
- Trifecta: spring rolls (extra peanut sauce), cellophane noodles and shaking beef (filet mignon)
- Great place for brunch. Starts at 9am in the weekend. Get the banh coun 👌
- Sara CDecember 2, 2013Seasonal brussel sprouts are amazing! Also love the vegetarian rolls (not fried and super fresh)!
- Christine NgoMay 18, 2010Hate the idea of paying $10 for a bowl of pho (give me a break--that shit is like, $0.50 in Vietnam, $4 in San Jose), but OTD certainly satisfies my cravings. Get the imperial rolls--they're great.
- Spring rolls! Clay chicken!!! Absolutely delicious!
- Can't decide between an American or Asian style brunch? Come here for both.
- Chicken salad, go to for lunch- do it. Crab noodles, go to for dinner- repeat😋
- don't block the driveway of the house next door even to pick up takeout. the neighbors are quick to call DTP to ticket or tow.
- C VApril 21, 2013It’s not fair for something to taste as good as these cranberry scones with the absurdly excellent lemon curd.
- Andrew ShatnyyAugust 10, 2013Beware of "rou ram" or what ever its called. Taste is pretty intense! Reminds me of medical bleach/sanitizer. It tastes good in the phô not in salads or cold dishes. Shredded chicken ruined my branch.
- Wild Bill DeLacyFebruary 16, 2013Corned Beef Hash is worth missing work (well most things are worth missing work for)
- Micah HalseyOctober 20, 2014Bring friends so you can order everything on the menu. Brunch is fantastic!
- Try the Crispy Garlic Potatoes With Scallions & Cheese - Must try
- Phil SFebruary 5, 2010Great food. The location at Westfield or embarcadero may be a bit better. They are still working out the service kinks here though. Food makes it worth it though!
- Mark BartelsAugust 28, 2014Brunch. Anything eggs. Side potatoes, pork bun to start and a Vietnamese coffee.
- Make reservations and eat here before catching a show at the Kabuki. The imperial rolls are tasty!
- Dungeness Crab and Cellophane Noodles are to die for, but I get them w/o the onions so I can taste the sesame more!:)
- Only get the bokchoi if you LOVE garlic. Spring rolls are the best ever
