Dana DanielleSeptember 10, 2016Good wine selection! Very busy as it's the closest one to city...be patient! Get there early for parking.
Best time to visit if you want to get in & out fast: Friday evening between after 8pm. The place closes at 8:30pm. Virtually no lines.- Where grandmothers would happily shank you and leave your body in the aisle just so they can get a free product sample.
They have EVERYTHING. Be aware, everyone else in Chicago comes here on the weekends, so be prepared for long lines. NO CUTTING!
Refill your ink cartridges at the photo counter. Drop off when you first get here and they will be ready in an hour.
Remember you don't have to be a member to grab lunch at their fast food stand
Best time to come here is 5:30 pm on a Saturday or Sunday if you pretty much know what you need. Get in and out in 30 minutes max!

Come armed with patience. The employees aren't nearly as friendly or helpful as they are in the GR, MI store & the place is always a mob scene. Can't wait for the SLoop location to open.
Can't beat Costco. Stock up on La Croix and other sparkling waters with the best prices in the city
Best to go on a quiet Friday night before the mayhem erupts on Saturday morning.
They sell gas for cars at a lower price than the rest of city! Another perk of membership!
This place is trouble, always get something that was lot planned. Liquor and beer selections always good.
MazdaOctober 26, 2010Lighting costs are reduced on sunny days, as most Costco locations have several skylights. During a sunny day, it is common for the center of the warehouse to have no interior lights powered on.

New sandwich - turkey provolone - a lot of sandwich with red onion and pesto mayo. Lots of taste!!- Get there early on the weekends or on a weeknight otherwise it's packed.

If the afternoon shoppers are too aggressive, try early evening. Much nicer crowd- Try the Hot Turkey With Provolone Sandwich - Tasty and inexpensive!

Go for the rotisserie chickens. Only $4.99 as opposed to $7.99 at Jewel or Dominick's and they're huge!- Good meats & the best chicken Breasts & Italian Sausage and good deals on Vodka

FYI, Can't buy alcohol until 11am on Sunday per State law.
I firmly believe you can tell how people drive on the street by the way they maneuver in Costco. Avoid Sat mornings whenever possible.
