- Matt KissingerJune 24, 2013For real ale drinkers this is heaven. The best selection in London. Don't rush, make sure you look through the variety of casks behind the bar and don't just quickly pick what they have on tap.
- Jack JenkinsJune 11, 2015Excellent selection of ales and ciders. A little lacking on the craft IPA kind of beers, but getting there. In the summer it is nice outside. Inside I found it a bit too "old man" for me
- Dave MilneJanuary 4, 2018Multi-award winning real ale & cider pub that specialises in stocking a wide range of local brews. Disgraceful it’s being bulldozed for HS2. Developers should have a duty to provide new premises.
- James HallJanuary 2, 2015Possibly a has been? Hand pulls apparently are neglected though the tables are full. 3 gravity ales I tried were past their time. Great selection, possibly too vast for the student-targeted discount.
- Andrea CampiApril 17, 2017TONS of local beers on tap. If you're serious about your beers, this is the place to go in the area. Divey in a great sort of way.
- Michelle ReeveApril 21, 2013Much nicer than it looks from the outside! Lovely selection of real ale. Student discount too! Nice to sit outside in the sun, shame it's right next to a road though!
- Binx SaundersMarch 4, 2016Homemade pies are delicious and they have good student discounts on drinks and food!
- Can't decide what to drink? Ask for a selection - three 1/3 pints of different beers or ciders for the price of a single pint! Great way to get a bit more variety out of your session.
- Giacomo MasonAugust 29, 2015Big selection of cask ales! Also student and CAMRA discounts. The floor stinks of spilled ale, as it should be
- Sam MJanuary 28, 2014A CAMRA beer festival in pub form, the Bree has a huge selection of cask "ales" and "real" cider, and often smells a bit. Don't expect anything kegged or carbonated. Grumpy staff. Unique.
- Colin PalgraveJanuary 27, 2017Different beers and good food was very crowded though although I did get a table quickly which was good.
- MonikaMarch 9, 2016Great selection of real ale & homemade pies. Bit dingy inside but the beer makes up for that.
- Righi Travel Like a LocalMarch 15, 2013Good ales and pies. Always many new casks to try . It can get very busy towards the end of the week.
- best pub in town, and CAMRA agrees. Lager boys will probably hate it but those who consider real ale to be an art form will love it. Pies are wonderful and the welcome is warm.
- JamesNovember 9, 2017Cask ales and pies are both top notch. It's closing on 31.1.18 for HS2 so catch it soon!
- Gregg BrownApril 16, 2012A real English pub gem, great selection of ales and if you like pilsner, their house beer is a real treat.
- Greg LearNovember 6, 2014Authentic English ale house that has won awards for their ales. The locals are always there. The English pies are really good.
- They let you try any of their beers and ciders and also serve in third pint glasses, great way to get through several of the 29 choices!
- alpha domAugust 30, 2013Crazy amounts of ale an funky ciders. .From what I gather you get a discount with a camra card...
- Have a pint, a pie, and another pint. This pub has won many awards for its selection of ale, don't let this little gem pass you by when waiting for a train at Euston.
- Barbara CrowtherNovember 6, 2010Great real ale and pie pub. CAMRA discounts also apply if you have tickets for Bloomsbury Theatre, so a fab pre-theatre meet up place too
- The choice of beers on gravity and handpull is amazing. Only criticism is that I've found the beer a little too warm.
- Great collection of ales (not so good for lagers). Student discount available.
- Jim LasburyOctober 5, 2013Might have a great range of beer but what it has in alcohol it lacks in ambience... the inside is like a weirdly lit youth club.
- John O'GradyNovember 22, 2013Heaving on a Friday night. Might be great for real ale but £4.60 for a pint of flat larger isn't so great!
- Steve DaviesFebruary 17, 2011Lovely pub with great selection of real ale, home made pies and smiley staff. Discount for CAMRA members too!
- fdqpsFebruary 10, 2014Around the corner at 187 North Gower Street you'll find the location that is set as Sherlock Holmes place 221B in the new series.
- Vicky HollandJanuary 17, 2014The carpets may be sticky but you won't get a cheaper or better pint around
