- C ReyApril 7, 2016Self proclaimed home of international soccer, this dive bar has all the essentials; daily drink and food specials, outdoor patio, TVs, low ceilings, and all kinds of random framed crap on the wall.Upvoted Mar 1
- Find your game/match, saddle up to the bar, order whatever's on special, and let Steven be your friend. I say let because he'll insist. Also, this Central NY-er highly approves of the wings. Legit.
- Jeremy CMarch 12, 2016A true Footie bar! Chill vibe and fresh pub food. The hummus platter is terrific (basics done well are always welcome) and friendly service.
- Allison ArthurMay 30, 2015The place for hardcore soccer fans. The bartenders are really nice. The fans and bargoers are even better. Incredible drink specials. Don't leave without trying The Carnivore pizza!
- ChicagoistJanuary 9, 2015Trying to get away from more routine, tourist destination pizza spots? Then this spot is worth checking out and it’s worth mentioning that their Carnivore pizza (vegan nightmare) is great. Read more
- This has been my "home" bar for a year. Sunday's are for Euro football brunching and Stephen the bartender. Every night there are amazing specials, even on the weekends. I love you Cleo's.
- Beer selection here isn't as vast as High Dive [across the avenue], & taps are 14-oz pours. But, this venue will put the soccer game on one of the TVs if you ask.
- This bar, and its sister Jack and Ginger's, on W. Armitage, serve tap beers in 14-oz. glasses. So you should know. Specials here are very good otherwise. $2.50 Goose Island on Wed. can't be beat.
- Great beer garden, awesome decor, & fantastic daily specials. Don't piss off Tim, Don't call Stephen Australian, & Don't get too close to Leonard....or else!
- Totally going to be repetitive but Steve the bartender is awesome! He truly cares about his customers. Great place to watch soccer matches
- Excellent staff, atmosphere, prices, and everything else you can think of! By far one of my favorite places to go.
- Heather FolsomOctober 6, 2016Excellent food- loved the chili mac & buffalo chicken quesadillas. $3 J shots on Wednesdays.
- AlisonMay 21, 2023Great for a late night neighborhood hangout. I’m so grateful the kitchen was open late!
- LyndaAugust 25, 2011I love their massive salads and the atmosphere is cool. Did I mention they have a rad beer garden? Well, they do!
- Free trivia on Tuesday's at 8 p.m. Half-priced apps. Get there early, tables fill up quickly.
- Lance the bar tender is super friendly and accommodating to all soccer fans!
- The Globe and Cleo's are the best soccer bars in the city.
- Eat the grilled cheese, it's the best in the world. You will have dreams about it. Good and happy dreams.
- On Wednesdays they have $4 burgers and 1/2 price Goose Island! :D
- BetsyMApril 27, 2011I guess this place is cool if you like flakey servers who forget to bring you your beer, not once but twice.
- They label their TVs "Cubs" and "Sox" for when the games are on simultaneously.
- Best neighborhood bar! Thursday try the pizza bargain!
- Enjoy $3.99 twelve-inch pizzas on Thursdays (usually $8-12 a pop!)
- best grilled cheese in town. it's all in the garlic aioli!
