more than a train station! amazing place to spend time. You can either take a stroll around the shops making your way to the metro or grab a nice meal from the various restaurants at the food court.
For the first time it might seem a bit chaotic but at the end of the day one can find whatever is in need. I love Termini very much. Excellent panini, caffè is available at several stands!
the best way to save your money is to buy food and drink on the supermarkets: there are two. One is on the underground floor, under the steak house, the other on the 1 rail, 15 cent for water
Two options to reach the airport. Trains (not often, takes 30min, €14) or private companies' busses (more often, takes 1h, €6) next to the station. Have a nice trip
Quite a big station with all the facilities you need while you wait for your train. You can grab a bite or have a drink or even shop for some souvenirs!
The station is large. Everything is convenient. There are restaurants, shops, luggage storage, you can rent a car. There are many different services. There is a metro near the station.
Inside Freccia Rossa train you can find good bar where you can eat healthy food like natural salad or fruit like ananas mela and if you want you can find also yogurt and good coffe.
Termini like something out of the third world. Watch your wallet, get in, and get out quickly. And woe betide you if your train is scheduled for the far track.
There is luggage deposit in the basement, expect a cue, definitely in the morning or in high season. It's 6€ (for each item) for the 1st 5hours, afterwards 90ct per additional hour.
Beware of the gypsies. Buying a ticket isn't that easy. As in all Italy, they first want to sell you the most expensive version. Use self express machine wisely and select affordable ones. €14

Plenty of ticket booths, Express trains depart from platforms 23/24. You must validate your ticket, even if you chose a time at the ticket machines or you can get a fine. Stupid rule.
If you want real food, check out the noodles and rice at W.O.K., which is 1 level below the main terminal floor. There's also a grocery and host of other shops down there.
Admittedly not really a beautiful place, despite the many shops. But I got sweet memories bound to this station. And Borri is a paradise for book lovers.
Thoughts : Trains are not listed by number but by final destination :) Trains pull up about 15mins before departure. Frecciarossa 1st class is so worth it. Also beware of pickpockets.
toilets are 1€ in downstairs :) so just try to use upstairs one or mc Donald's ;) worth to take a look to kiko store and downstairs Wind store will give you best promotion for 3G.
The Leonardo Express train from Fiumicino is currently €14 per person each way as of 30th July 2013 - Apparently the most expensivetrain trip in Italy.. Still beats Londons Heathrow Express tho !
The train to Fiumicino, 'Leonardo Express', leaves from platform 24. It's approx 2 minutes walk from the station entrance. Across to your right as you stand looking at the trains in front of you.
Get the train to the airport not the bus. I'm from London England and am happy to pay an extra €10 for an extra 15 minutes of not being on public transport.
The leonardo express to the airport requires a ticket validation (which is not mentioned anywhere nor does anyone tell you about it) if you dont have it you get a 5 euro fine in the train.
