Juuso MäyränenDecember 3, 2016Great zoo! Our visit was on a sunny day, temperature just above freezing. Turns out it was an excellent time to visit. Many animals were very active and it wasn't too crowded.

Lene HansenJanuary 28, 2012I love the ZOO in Copenhagen, and I've been visiting several times in my life, first time at 8 years old. At that time they had lioncubs taken care of by a dog, feeding and raising them. :)
See the savannah with the animals going free. The polar bears as well and a lot of other great places and animals. Not forgetting the pandas

DanFebruary 9, 2014Despite other Zoos offering to take care of it, this Zoo decided to shot a healthy 18 month old giraffe, and dissect it publicly, because it was incapable of breeding.
Great zoo with lots of facilities for kids. Big playground and animals to pet.

One of the best zoo's in the world. Constantly striving to fullfil all the obligations of a modern zoo.

Luigi Santos-HammarlundApril 23, 2012Don't miss the monkey island, turn right as soon as you enter the zoo. If you follow the flow of visitors you may miss it.- Some of the enclosures are far too small. I wish they'd get rid of the large predators, because it otherwise is an awesome zoo.
