- Elena KonstantinovaJanuary 3, 2016Amasing place for children and adults! Quite many animals that are ready to meet visitors even in winter! Polar bear & red panda - must see!Upvoted Mar 11
- Juuso MäyränenDecember 3, 2016Great zoo! Our visit was on a sunny day, temperature just above freezing. Turns out it was an excellent time to visit. Many animals were very active and it wasn't too crowded.Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Sam DuffyJuly 16, 2012A surprisingly good zoo, despite the lukewarm TimeOut write up. Lots of modern enclosures with happy active animals, goid viewing options and a fabulous elephant house designed by Norman Foster.Upvoted Apr 1
- MuratSeptember 3, 2016Awesome! Great for families. Perfect for team-building events, as the staff is very good. Prices are fine at the food court, but high at the gift shop.
- Jonathan NobreNovember 14, 2017The place is amazing, full of interesting animals, even wolfs were there :)
- Lene HansenJanuary 28, 2012I love the ZOO in Copenhagen, and I've been visiting several times in my life, first time at 8 years old. At that time they had lioncubs taken care of by a dog, feeding and raising them. :)
- See the savannah with the animals going free. The polar bears as well and a lot of other great places and animals. Not forgetting the pandas
- Otel.comJanuary 25, 2012This zoological garden is one of the oldest ones in Europe, and remains one of the best today. Open 365 days a year, this place has more than 3,000 animals of more than 250 species.
- Maria KöhlerAugust 5, 2016What a great zoo! I just adore prairie dogs. And the polar bear swimming around looks just so impressive! Gorgeous animal.
- Very good place to visit in a sunny Spring day, I visited in winter and I felt pity for the lions in the snow...
- Kris CroxJuly 10, 2016A terrific zoo. If you're planning to bike, prepare for it to be at the top of the biggest hill in Copenhagen!
- DanFebruary 9, 2014Despite other Zoos offering to take care of it, this Zoo decided to shot a healthy 18 month old giraffe, and dissect it publicly, because it was incapable of breeding.
- Great zoo with lots of facilities for kids. Big playground and animals to pet.
- Irina MikheevaJuly 16, 2018Surprisingly big zoo! Panda place was under the construction but other areas are nice
- The polarbears are very intertaining and if you find the churro stand try them!!
- Hind MohammedJuly 19, 2016Even with a map of the place in my hand, I still got lost. They need to have clear signs and proper directions. But still, I enjoyed the place nevertheless.
- Rune AndersenMay 11, 2010Now I'm not big on the whole keeping animals locked up but I've been to a few zoos the world over and this one is lovely with lots of space for the animals and the kids have plenty to do.
- One of the best zoo's in the world. Constantly striving to fullfil all the obligations of a modern zoo.
- Jelle HoogenboomSeptember 15, 2017This is your chance to see a Tasmanian devil! A rarity in zoos outside Australia.
- Luigi Santos-HammarlundApril 23, 2012Don't miss the monkey island, turn right as soon as you enter the zoo. If you follow the flow of visitors you may miss it.
- Some of the enclosures are far too small. I wish they'd get rid of the large predators, because it otherwise is an awesome zoo.
- Joeri DaenenAugust 14, 2014The elephant house was designed by Norman Foster and is an absolute must-see.
- Ove JensenJuly 25, 2013Besides the great outdoor experience, Provianten serves a damn good flæskestegssandwich
- Alexander MelhuishDecember 2, 2013First place in 5 days in Copenhagen that has charged extra for using a foreign credit card - 1.5%! In the café, too...
- Soojin LeeNovember 14, 2014The arctic ring is temporary closed due to its construction. Even a female polar bear is in sensitive pregnant. Hard to see it.
- Jim StoddartJuly 24, 2013Most of the animals were sleeping/inside as it was hot outside, but on the plus side... lots of baby animals!
- The Arctic Circle is amazing! Dont miss out on the polar bears new house...
- Gorka GuridiJanuary 21, 2020It's a zoo. They have pandas. So, of course, I had to come. Nice panda store.
- Gaby García BesnéFebruary 8, 2013Very disappointed with the new polar bear place. Only 7 of 100 people read the part about conservation. The signs are very bad. They did it in a way that does not call attention at all!
- Evgeny MadorskiyMay 10, 2013Great to spend time with kids. However, the territory is way too small for these animals. Utterly unhealthy food everywhere.
- Fini AlringJuly 14, 2010Be sure to check out the tiny otters, if you're lucky they will be awake and doing something crazy ;)
- Even a regular pig with little piglets can be a big experience for small children
