Oldest bar in Dublin! There are many rooms and bars, so definitely explore to find a great spot. Most days also host live music so stick around for the full experience.

A must visit. Plenty of diff room, live music, Smoking seating area outside w/ heat lamps. Great history, very friendly people. A bit of a 'tourist trap' but you won't mind at all. Plenty of locals

Good pub food and great place to share a pint. The live music happens in the first room and gets pretty crowded, so getting in early is a must!

I went here alone for the dinner and show and they were very accommodating when I called to explain my flight had arrived late. They squeezed me into the later show, no problem. Enjoyed the food, too!

Between the Irish Stew, the Guinness Stew and the Fish and Chips, I liked the Irish Stew the best. It was the lightest and had delicious lamb bits!

Irish stew was great! A really nice place but it still could respect more its history (led strip lighting doesn't fit into places like this).

Came for the beef stew and was not disappointed! Lots of tables inside if you keep looking. Couldn’t believe how fast the food came out. Delicious!

Sit at the bar so you can chat with the bartender and ask for recommendations for your next beverage move—once you've had your fill of Guinness.

The oldest pub in Dublin is reputedly the Brazen Head where a tavern has stood since the 12th century. Wolfe Tone and the United Irishmen are believed to have met here to plan their rebellion

We had a good storyteller who shared folklore and provided perspective on the purpose it served. It was well worth the time and expense and we'd do it again if we get back to Dublin.

Good fish n chips, although expensive for the size of portion. Service is ok. It worth because of the tradition - it is the oldest pub un Dublin!

Dating back to 1198, the Brazen Head is Ireland's oldest pub. It is well worth a visit for both its historical value and reputation as one of Dublin's best Irish music venues.

Supposedly a Norman tavern from 1198 (and purportedly Dublins oldest pub), Robert Emmett is said to have drank here. The entrance can give you an idea of street level change over the years.
