Fried Chicken & Waffles. Excellent service. Food tasted great. Then we saw a cockroach on the wall beside our table. Yep, A COCKROACH! The server had to kill it. Pretty much lost my appetite after.

Harlem has great ambience and on Friday and Saturday nights usually boast talented performers. My only complaint are the portion sizes. The queen St location gives a heartier portion for your buck.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere. Service needs work but I'll definitely visit again. Favorites from the family style menu: jerk chicken quesadilla, jambalaya and catfish étouffée. Try the pork hock!

Great vibe, food, graffiti, but the staff while friendly dished out some of the worst service ever! We waited 20 mins for water! And for our order to be taken! And it was a Tuesday - not a busy night.

Love the atmosphere but don't order the rice & beans if you're vegetarian; I found outat the lastminute that pork is in the dish. (full disclosure within the menu would have been appreciated.)

Great food, horrible service. The candied plantains and jerk chicken are worth the long wait times and rude wait staff though. Only go if you have the patience and tolerance to wait.

I had the Chicken and Waffles and did not really enjoy that they put a red chilli sweet pepper sauce on the chicken.

Waitress thought it was hilarious my dining companions were covered in waste water piped on the patio. She asked if we saw a rat and said, "hey it's Toronto." No apologies or sympathy. Will not return
