- Berk MesekiranMarch 22, 2016They make £6.75 sandwiches but they're huge! You get 2 sandwiches made between slices of delicious loaf. You can even share if it you get something on this side. Nice little shop area by the entrance
- Daren WilliamsJanuary 27, 2017Great dessert place - cakes, slices, pastries, sweets, etc (passionfruit cheesecake was yum). Great coffee & tea. Plenty of space, good noise level in the evenings, great spot for post-dinner chat.
- Adam RobbinsMarch 22, 2015Great British fare, always. Perfect place for lazy lunching. The sandwiches are a favourite. Expect a short queue.
- Emily-janeNovember 23, 2017Great spot serving fresh British food; pies and pastries are especially good! Lovely for both coffee & cake and dinner alike. Grab some treats to take home from the little "farmshop" on the way out.
- Fabio De BernardiNovember 19, 2014Lovely food... the half pint of prawns is amazing and portobello mushrooms on toast and Lancashire hot pot (lamb) are both very good. Avoid the Pinot Noir (Le Vieux Quartier, 2010), poor wine for £32
- Utku CanAugust 9, 2014Albion serves great British food on offer all day at their café/restaurant. They also have a small shop with some of the best organic produce in Shoreditch, but beware of the prices; it can be dear.
- MaríaJanuary 6, 2015The stake sanwich melts in your mouth and the root salad is super tasty, specially when you've seen everything you are having raw at the shop.
- Shaileshwori SharmaJuly 31, 2015Great service (even at the busiest time) and atmosphere. Sandwiches are massive and with unique flavors. My friend tried pea and ham soup and liked it. Amazing deli and dessert selection too.
- S Marks The SpotsJune 6, 2013Divided in a cute food store selling homemade bread/cakes and the café serving delicious dishes prepared in the open plan kitchen. Simple British food, bustling atmosphere, free wi-fi & homemade treats! Read more
- Brooke LouiseFebruary 13, 2019Cute enough. Big thumbs up for calling out Plant Based vegan meals first (animal carcasses are the add on) but spotty service, tiny portions.
- Leiliane ValadaresOctober 27, 2016Good to take a seat, drink a coffee and eat a delicious cake! You can see the food preparation through the glass. Great options for foodies in the store.
- Kristi EvansJanuary 18, 2014The Coronation Chicken Sandwich is fluffy and delicious! You basically get 2 sandwiches for the price of one so you can eat both or take one to go. A great value!
- Mike O'SullivanSeptember 1, 2014Fantastic for breakfast, lunch, or brunch. The sausage and mash is excellent, as is the full Albion breakfast. Also try the gunpowder tea, which is green tea based.
- Jed CarterJanuary 17, 2015The sandwiches here could feed a family of four for several days. Good crusty bread. Curiously, I'm not sure if you can really buy the veggies here, or if they are only shown for organic hipster-cred.
- Excellent Full English brekkie. Order an extra toast, some strawberry jam and a pot of Yorkshire Tea. Amazing. Plus: if you go by yourself you get to sit in no time.
- Janice TMay 1, 2017Nice pot of tea and scone with fresh cream and jam! Cauliflower and asparagus soup was a bit too thick and spicy though.. Nice environment for chilling the afternoon.
- MauiDecember 9, 2014I ordered a roasted chicken sandwich with mayo and lettuce, but I didn't expect two sandwiches! :o It tasted great, I couldn't finish both of them tho, so I took one home in a doggy bag :-)
- Anouska SAugust 6, 2019Their bakery used to be amazing, but hasn’t been for the last year or so. Bring back the old carrot cake recipe!
- K HFebruary 2, 2014Went here for coffee with a friend. Lovely ambiance and pastry selection. My pan au chocolate was way too much pan and next to no chocolate though. Soy latte was kind of unappetizing too.
- Chris HainesFebruary 4, 2016Good place to go for pastries, fresh produce and organic food. Can be a bit pricey, but a nice experience and friendly environment.
- Great spot for coffee and a bite to eat. I can recommend the kedgeree and the cake selection.
- Nicholas ThompsonJune 23, 2015Amazing breakfast, monstrous croissants. Order a main for yourself and the almond croissant to share.
- LucianNovember 13, 2014Great place with fresh pastry and delicious breakfast. Try their pain au chocolat, it's one of the best I've ever had!
- Laura RaynerOctober 19, 2013The full breakfast is amazing. Expect a queue on the weekends but worth the normal half hour wait! Also pick up some bits from their shop to take home.
- I simply love this place, food quality is definitely a thing here, pricy for brunch/lunch and so on but is definitely worth for a quick bite
- Teresa VillanuevaMay 26, 2014Food is good. Getting too busy to give you the proper attention and care. Waited too long (20min) for my coffee. Nearly finished my breakfast before it came. And even getting the bill is a wait.
- Emilie FuttermanJune 20, 2014The porridge is delicious and there's great natural light in the back area. And it's adorable.
- Glenn EbertMarch 20, 2013Located next to the Boundary in Shoreditch, this pastry palace must not be missed. Their breakfast sandwiches are collosal, and homemade scones outrageously scrumptous. Takeaway never tasted better.
- This place can get a bit nuts on the weekend, so avoid going at peak times. Off peak is lovely. Great sit-down food and takeaway nibbles.
- Godly croissants and bread. Their food offering is seasonal, homely and very well cooked but pricey. £13 for steak sandwich and chips, ouch!
- Sera KoçAugust 31, 2015you can do your work and watch people chilling when you are sitting outside and eating delicious tastes of course.. have you ever tried rooftop!? you better do:)
- AAW207October 20, 2013Steak sandwich with chips was superb. And our service was prompt friendly and quick! Would love to share a picture but my plate is empty now!
- I find myself systematically going back for focaccia, feta pie, bread and the weird raw juices in cosmetic style bottles. Join me ;)
- Bradley FehlerMarch 27, 2017Lovely lunchtime sandwiches. At £4.50 they are on the pricey side, but with the quality bread I think it's worth it.
- Uber trendy breakfast/lunch spot. The scrambled eggs & smoked salmon is delicious.
- Maxwell LoganNovember 8, 2015Cafe and small shop, with an in-house bakery and cake counter, where the vast majority of the food and drink products are British.
- Leah SchwartzAugust 15, 2014Went two days in a row for breakfast. The scrambled eggs are delicious, the omelette and toast are just OK. Wait staff is super friendly and easygoing.
- Maarten den BraberApril 12, 2013Reasonable dinner for reasonable prices, at least by London standards. Don't expect anything fancy from the dishes, but be sure to check out the freshly madd bread!
- Cris GoncalvesMay 5, 2013Breakfast here is a must :) and the Flat White is really perfect, one of the best I've ever tried.
- Vincenzo FerrieroJuly 12, 2013Albion breakfasts are killer. Great price for loads of great food! Their bread is sublime. A little butter and you're in heaven.
- The GuardianApril 25, 2012"You can eat in the "caff" – a big Conranesque canteen space – for under £10 a head if you're careful, but with so many good things to take away from the deli section, why bother?" Read more
- Bradley WoodMarch 3, 2012Full English not great. Home made baked beans is a fail - why mess with Heinz perfection? Scrambled eggs were a bit grainy too. Come back later for the pork scratching on the lunch menu.
- Alexandros PlexidasJuly 16, 2016Dog and hipster friendly 😊. Can get very crowded. Brunch was big and tasty and so did the coffee.
- Nazli A.March 17, 2014Fine food and drinks. Service is good. Either alone or with family or friends Albion is a great choice in the area
- PortlandFebruary 29, 2012Only had a cup of tea but definitely want to return for breakfast! Also next to the Boundary Hotel if you fancy an al fresco drink on the roof top!
- Morgans Hotel GroupApril 2, 2012Hailing the simple pleasures of British nostalgia, Albion is all plump Brown Betty teapots with knitted cosies, Tate & Lyle Golden Syrup tins as cutlery pots, tractors seats for stools. Read more
