- Cenk GümüşcüoğluOctober 6, 2014Very delicious sushi and sashimi at a very reasonable price. Not a fancy place because it mainly focuses on take-away. There are 5 or 6 tables and opens at 1 pm. Asian expats seem to like Atari-Ya.
- Vivian HsiehJanuary 2, 2014its soooooooo good I'm dreaming about it ever since i had the salmon oyako don!!! strongly recommend!!!!! its a pretty small diner so it hard to find a sit and have to wait for a bit in rush hour.
- William GanMarch 3, 2016Authentic sushi (salmon + avocado, eel + avocado, fresh nigiri, all amazing), wasabi that tastes real. Watch out for occasional treats like inari sushi (sweet deep-fried tofu stuffed with rice)
- Nick ZeroApril 19, 2016One of the favourite Japanese restaurant in London so far. Chirachi is the top choice, but everything else is equally good. Pick up some nice teas from the small selection at the back.
- Nathalie AJune 8, 2013Best quality and best tasting takeaway sushi in town. All freshly prepared. Plus the fish is great because atari-ya are actually the fish suppliers to most of the high end sushi restaurants in London.
- Omer CavusogluMarch 8, 2016They supply to big sushi restaurants (evidence of great quality sushi), yet here you can have all you like at very affordable prices. Better to take out as space inside is limited.
- Christina GkMarch 23, 2017Always love love love- great fresh fish, rainbow roll excellent and prices are a pleasant surprise :)
- K HFebruary 24, 2014As the fish supplier to many top sushi restaurants such as Nobu and Yashin, you know you're in for a treat here. Fresh, melt in your mouth deliciousness. Every time.
- Technically a take-away but there are a few tables to enjoy the amazing sushi. Great value for money with ever fresh fish very nicely prepared.
- Di KadyrovaAugust 23, 2015This is THE best place in London for quality sushi. And yes, better than any of the high-end places. Staff is super-friendly as well
- Pete MarcusAugust 28, 2016Absolutely gorgeous, top-notch sushi. About £20 for a nigiri set and worth every penny.
- PikSeptember 5, 2011Atari-ya supplies to restaurants like Nobu, so the quality is high, but prices are low bc this is a take-away. Best value Japanese I've found in London. I get the Super deluxe chirashi every time!
- Adeline TApril 17, 2012Time and time again, I'll drop by Atariya for a quick sashimi or sushi fix, good especially after shopping around Oxford St! Not many seats as it's more of a takeaway so you might have to wait.
- AnastasiaJanuary 23, 2017Seriously delicious sushi and rolls. Considering the price and freshness, this place is pretty unbelievable, especially for Oxford street area.
- Duncan WilsonApril 17, 2011Fresh Ikura is amazing! Ikura can be aweful if not fresh, if you thinknyou hate it, try it here. Pop the eggs with your Tongue on the roof of your mouth, mmmm goodness
- ElifJune 7, 2015Handmade and fresh sushi, everything is transparent, watching preparations is also a pleasure.
- Bridget WolkoberDecember 29, 2016Great handmade, fresh sushi at a great price. My go-to for my weekly sushi fix! :)
- Shamai CohenFebruary 10, 2019Changed their name to sushiology and serves mostly premade sushi that was not super fresh tasting. The sushi rolls contained gluten which was an issue for allergies - sushi doesn't usually have this.
- Ekaterina KiselevaApril 3, 2012Very nice roll with eel! The best in town! zuma, nobu etc is nothing compare to this place!!!! And for such a low prices!
- Duncan WilsonApril 17, 2011Closest sushi to that in Japan I have found in London. Toro (fatty tuna) melts like butter in your mouth. Dragon roll great if you find the nigiri to subtle
- Cynthia C.December 1, 2012The sushi is fantastic and the ingredients are really fresh. But the food takes AGES to come, so be prepared to wait!
- ChristinaNovember 25, 2012Freshly made to order sushi. Best to call ahead and then pick them up on the way home from work!
- Antonia LimJuly 1, 2010There is simply too much choice! If you can't make up your mind, go for the Delux Chirashi box to fulfil all your sushi needs. Have still yet to try the Super Delux box...
- Louise LeeAugust 6, 2010Freshest sushi I've ever sampled in London - simply melts in the mouth! Beware going during lunchtime...prepare for a long wait - but well worth it and reasonable priced!
- They have some of the freshest and cheapest sashimi in the area. Along with the sashimi, the sushi rolls are really good too! A must try!
- VincentAugust 6, 2016It's okay if you are in a hurry and want something quick. You pay extra for the wasabe.
- Iris TseFebruary 28, 2014A bit annoyed that they started charging 50p to slice the 100g blocks. I can't just eat the block as is, so you HAVE to pay extra to get it sliced. Didn't charge when I came here before an eat in
- Emily QuintinApril 11, 2013Just £2.00 for four delicious gyoza, really good value if you're looking for an easy snack!
- Thiago MaiaDecember 12, 2015Not the best place to sit down and eat but great Japanese food to take away. Fish is really good quality.
- Michael HadwinJuly 18, 2015Nice fresh sushi. Miso a bit casual. Outside seating but no alcohol license. Hood for a quick bite.
- Great value sashimi & try the rainbow roll, highly recommended!
- Atheer SulimanJanuary 31, 2015Tasty fresh sushi for takeaway at a reasonable price 🙌, Couldn't be happier.
- The California maki is made with real crab and the Dragon roll comes in 8 generous & delicious pieces sprinkled with roe and sweet sauce, well worth £12!
- One of favourite sushi hideouts, super cheap high quality food
- Authentic Japanese food. Japanese staff. Very very delicious!!
- Try the inarizushi for an inexpensive treat, delicious and underrated!
- LifeofshayanApril 19, 2014Great food. Have been to the Hendon branch before. Review on
www.lifeofshayan.com - Maria ZverinaMay 3, 2011Very disappointed - there was no dragon in my dragon roll. ;-) but everything else is delicious - try the White tuna sashimi as well!!
- Ekaterina KiselevaApril 4, 2012Nobu,zuma etc nothing comapre to this place! Funny prices, exellent taste!!best eel roll in london
- Lisa Alyssa SittiwongAugust 16, 2011Salmon sashimi & Fatty tuna sashimi are the best! great quality at reasonable prices :)
- Prices have gone up recently so it's not as cheap as it once was. Still relatively cheap and very fresh.
