- Gabriel HouriganDecember 16, 2014Fantastic value and service! Food arrives very fast! It's like fast food but actually good. Plus the tiny place really feels like you've stepped into Japan I've gone several times everyone loves it!
- Jack KoskyNovember 20, 2014Having been to Japan this summer I can safely say that this is an authentic restaurant, similar to many of the fast food places there. I recommend always adding a miso soup to your order.
- Claire WebsterSeptember 10, 2015Fast, delicious and quite healthy Japanese food. Great value. I love ebi chili don (spicy prawns) and the gyozas. You can byob if you sit in. I prefer to get take out and sit in the pavillion gardens
- Roxanne BennettApril 16, 2014Found this place on 4sq. Tiny little place so I almost missed it. Great food at great prices. Takeaway available.
- elyse jamesApril 17, 2012Amazing authentic Japanese food, great value for money, you can get a meal for under £5! Would highly recommend the Tori Chilli Don, but check out the rest of the menu here... http://bit.ly/898Vw9

- DaniApril 22, 2017Cheap and cheerful! Fast, and yummy food. You can byob. I recommend the bbq chicken skewers to start and the ungai(eel) special
- Murillo BragaOctober 29, 2017Mixed experiences: katsu curry was nice, though stir fried shripms weren't actually fried. Almost raw. Inviting prices but depending on your hunger, 1 dish may not b enough. Place is humble and tight.
- Steph RaynerNovember 25, 2014Delicious, fast, cheap! Everyone I know loves this place, I highly recommend it! (If you order through dinner2go you can get it delivered!!
- Andy ThorntonDecember 29, 2014Specialises in donburi rice bowls, a refreshing antidote to the lazy stereotype that Japanese = sushi. Can't go wrong with the 'parent-and-child' oyakodon. 🐔🍳🍚
- Jon BusbyAugust 21, 2012Amazing little quirky Japanese fast food place. Get a seat, then go up to order at the counter. The Japanese traditional tea is a little interesting!
- James MayesDecember 20, 2014Possibly the only place in the world where the food looks like the menu photos! Excellent food, cheap prices. Do it.
- Juan LOctober 29, 2014Top class katsudon! We ordered to take-away 'cause the place was packed, but the atmosphere was great, wish we could stay.
- James CrollAugust 17, 2016Cheap, authentic, Pumpkin curry was a real surprise; a must try. Gyoza also excellent. What a place.
- Ian AgarJune 19, 2013This is a great little place to eat. Cheap and tasty. Plus you can bring your own plonk for a corkage fee. It's Brighton's worst kept secret.
- Ibrahim RaslanSeptember 22, 2017One of m favourite restaurants in Brighton ! the chicken curry , dumplings , is a must try
- 毛毛毛脑袋太躁 Claire ShangMarch 3, 2012my japanese friends also love this tiny place, also fast and amazing and in such a cheap price, love mochi and green tea ice-cream~~
- Celine KirisAugust 9, 2012It is much more delicious and cheaper than Wagamama. A small in size but big in taste! All kind of prawn dishes are worth trying.
- Student friendly place w/ decent Japanese food. I have tried #23 & #32 so far and both of them were pretty good.
- Claire TaylorJuly 22, 2014Service is quick enough to grab a take away during your lunch break. Food is cheap and delicious. Cash only.
- Great for kids. They have highchairs and can give spoons in place of chopsticks. Good kids' dishes include veg noodles and veg rice. And edamame and sweetcorn soup!
- Aimie CookMarch 28, 2018Absolutely gorgeous! The pumpkin curry is beautiful! Quick service and inexpensive.
- Michael McCallamSeptember 8, 2016Beautiful food, rice heavy but pretty cheap, around £5 for a main - cash only and order at counter
- Megan HarmerFebruary 14, 2017Cheap, tasty vegetarian dishes. I love the Tofu Chili Don. Very fast service.
- Kuo-yu LiangJanuary 12, 2019Fun hole in the wall with wide selections. Food is OK not great, cheap, cash only. There is seating upstairs too.
- Iwona RokowskaAugust 20, 2018Good, doesn’t have too many vegetarian options in mains, but rice bowls and starters are delicious. Good prices too
- Emma LinternApril 18, 2014Great Japanese food at this tiny restaurant. Super cheap! The dumplings are delish!
- Scott GMay 25, 2015Actually not so good. The service style is very inefficient, and not what you'd expect in a Japanese restaurant at all. Some food is tasty, but overall has lot to learn if it wants to be competitive.
- They sell the Ramyun just for 50p per each which is Korean spicy. it is probably the cheapest price in here
- Alice ReevesJuly 26, 2010The tastiest and best value Japanese food in Brighton. The Sesame Prawn Don and the Yakitori are A-MAZING. Always fantastic value for money - I've never been disappointed here.
- George NewellAugust 2, 2016First choice if you need a quick, tasty, well priced meal before other things in town.
- Theo RMay 13, 2015The food is really tasty and not that expensive. The personnel's behavior though is kinda strange, like they want you out of there the second you are done with your meal.
- JanaJuly 16, 2012One of my favourite restaurant in Brighton-delicious food,nice staff,great location,good prices... ;)
- Awesome Katsu curry. Only £4.90. Half the price of Wagamama's twice the taste!
