- Florence HFebruary 14, 2015This park is beautiful and not your typical park. Make an effort to stay until it gets truly dark. You'll see the stars like you've never seen them before. It's absolutely stunning. Dress warmly!Upvoted Mar 13

- Jenn YApril 11, 2015Enter the park here. $15/car admission. Bring your own water. Hidden Valley and Barker Dam are two great intro loop hikes which also offer lots of off-trail rock scrambling exploration (recommended!).
- ℳ𝒶𝓎♍September 7, 2019A SoCal gem with tons of boulder formations, Joshua trees, arch/skull rocks and cholla cactus. The weather is insane; hot during the day and cold at night but that night sky is killer
- Dov DDecember 28, 2019Depends on where you travel, most likely the Joshua tree entrance is more suitable. Watch out for closures in winter
- Jon DFebruary 26, 2013See the San Andreas Fault from the top of Keys View. There is parking at the top and it's handicap accessible so this is a must see for everyone.
- ScottFebruary 27, 2018So much awesome! A $25 ticket gets you entry to the park for 7 days and it’s well worth it. Keep your eyes peeled for coyotes, various bird of prey and chipmunks amongst other wildlife.
- Ailie ChangDecember 8, 2021Beautiful and fun scrambling. You can’t bring your dog onto the trails but you can bring your dog to take photos and scramble on some of the rocks.
- Jackie PApril 12, 2017Love this place...sunrise to sunset! Whether driving, hiking, camping, or meditating. Admission is $15...bring water, a sun hat, map is helpful to carve out your chosen adventures.
- D BrowneMarch 6, 2014If coming from AZ, take CA-62 to park. Scenic and nothing for miles except awesome scenery. The desert night sky is also an unbelievable treat, for those of us used to city light pollution.
- Kyo SongNovember 21, 2016Wonderful place to wander and lose track of time. You'll feel like you're in a different world. Check out the Cholla Cactus garden, don't touch!

- Katy KarasJune 26, 2016First, bring lots of water, bring more water, then bring more eater and food! Nothing in the park. Desert at its finest!

- BobbiMay 10, 2013If you're going to visit, the Joshua Tree is way in the middle of the park. Other things you have to hike to see. Be prepared with water & hiking shoes.
- Derek GurneyMarch 24, 2014The Joshua trees and rock formations are on the north side, so unless you are doing a loop, enter from the Joshua Tree side, not the I-10 side
- Matteo P.March 26, 2023One of the few national parks that you could (partially) enjoy with you dog 🐶
