LufthansaNovember 19, 2012In the new halls near the harbor the main samba schools of Rio are housed. Visitors can watch as the carnival costumes are tailored and the huge cars are built. Thursdays there are also Shows. Samba!

pkhrJanuary 1, 2017If you are landing here, book right window seat. It's likely you going to have the best views of Rio, flying on low altitude by Corcovado and Sugar Loaf, over Botafoga beach.

AD NysFebruary 5, 2013Don't expect to find an international ATM in the upstairs departure area. Try your luck downstairs on the main floor near Arrivals, to your far left as you enter the main terminal.

Billy BachmanJanuary 19, 2015Its a decent airport. Its small and quiet. At the end of the day its still an airport. By US standards they are more lax on security which I really like. No hassle security and decent fast food.
Take blue or red cabs if you're new in town it a foreigner, there are booths right outside luggage belts area. If you're a local, go for yellow one.

Diners Club VIP Lounge @ SDU is a great option to get your stuff done until your boarding time. Soberb business facility.- N pegue taxis do pto do aeroporto. Espere algum outro chegar. - - - Be careful with taxis from airport. Many of them with taximeter adultery. Wait for a taxi arrived with passenger and take this one.

There is no need to get a cab. Ask for the blue bus outside the airport. It covers all touristic areas and hotels.
