If you are not a serious reader you won't like the bookshop. They have thousands of books accumulated on shelves. It's the best bookshop I have visited so far :-)

Unless you're hoping to find a very specific out-of-print edition, many of the books here are far more expensive than if you buy a new one online, and in very dusty condition.

Only for the brave. There is so much stock here it's scary. It's organised chaos but a visit is sure to uncover a gem or two

The eponymous Bob Gould was a famous Trotskyist antiwar protester in the 60s. If you talk to him, he'll sneakily assess your politics before deciding whether to continue the conversation.
