Excellent Hotel! Staff is very friendly! If you are a Gold Passport Diamond, you can go to the 9th floor to check-in and enjoy the Regency ClubLounge. Wifi scheme is weird, but works really good.
An amazing hotel with a fantastic staff. Concierge helped us wrapped our walking sticks from Fuji for transport back home. Everyone was super friendly. Highly recommended hotel!
Very strategic location, underneath the hotel is tochomaesubway station. Plus they have a shuttle (free!) that brings you to shinjuku station every 20mins (see bus sched). Rooms are spacious andclean
Do NOT miss Michel TroisGros for lunch. It's a two Michelin stars restaurant (I.e. of the top restaurant in the world) and it's only $45 for a lunch course (if you are a hotel guest).
Rooms needs some upgrading. A tad bit dated at the moment. 24 hr 7-11 is in the basement with 2 ATM machines which accepts international credit cards too.
The Hyatt Regency is the oldest of the three Hyatts Hotels in Tokyo, but still good! Check out the huge chandeliers in the lobby and the two Michelin-starred 'Cuisine[s] Michel Troisgros' restaurant. Read more
The closest ATM / cash machine is at the 7-Eleven in the basement level of the building: exit the lobby entrance, turn left, do not go onto the sidewalk, enter the sliding doors into the underground.
Ask for a wireless Internet adapter and an ironing board at checkin. If breakfast is not included in your rate, you're better off skipping the hotelrestaurant in the mornings.
One of the most comfortable hotels in the Shinjuku area, not cheap, but for a reasonable price, compared to some other hotels in Tokyo. Spacious rooms.
WiFi rate is ridiculous, while 3G connection is wonky in the building... Room is spacious in Tokyo standard. Staffs are nice but not very english-friendly. Breakfast buffet offers little variety.
Beds comfy. Service ok. Lobby looks fantastic. Free shuttle to Shinjuku. However everything is way overpriced in the hotel including Internet. Will not return.
Formerly Century Hyatt Tokyo, the hotel Hyatt Regency Tokyo is located in Shinjuku, a thriving business, shopping and entertainment district and home to the most select Tokyo hotels.
