I have a soft spot for the set dosa here but really everything here is authentic south indian no sickly sweet sambhar to cater to Gujjus. The real deal. Legendary filter coffee too!

Early Morning breakfast at this place should be a ritual if you stay nearby. The dosas and Idli are top notch with chutney and sambhar taste being in-house. Even the white butter is made by them.

Good dosa varieties other than the usual. Try the set dosa, pessaratu(moong dal) dosa, raagi dosa, neer dosa. South style misal. Upma poodhi. And any dosa with the white is a hit here.

It’s where Matunga residents flock for breakfast. Fresh, fluffy idlis, even fluffier set dosas served with white butter, and steaming filter coffee served in steel bowls are part of the allure.
