It's a tiny trek uphill but the views are stunning. Bring a picnic and your sweetie and sit down by "Athens Unfinished"

The walk to the top is very easy. They have stairs and barely takes 10 minutes. You can get a good view of Edinburgh from one side and sea on the other. It’s free so make sure to visit.

Mere minutes from the centre of the city with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere to breathe it all in. You can see almost from edge to edge. Relatively easy climb with stairs.

The view of the city from up here is great. It's a steep walk up the shortest path, but well worth it.

Cannot count how many times we have been here and how many precious memories left here... The small hill just take u one second from the busiest princess st but got completely different view.

Hill was rendered "Cragge Ingalt" on a 1560 map, possibly meaning "the place of the groves". Then named "Caldtoun" in 1591, "Caltonhill" in 1725 & "Calton" between 1780 & 1804. Source: Wikipedia
