- Has aged beyond its years but still manages to be practical and functional if not pretty. Lines at security can be long but service remains friendly. Retail and F&B options are very good.Upvoted 1 week ago
- If you want to go to downtown Geneva, pick your FREE train ticket after luggage claim, & hop to ANY train. They all have as their 1st stop Cointrin station, & it takes 7 mins, vs. 30 mins of the bus)Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Nice airport with direct access transport (train and bus), food court available with good choices, wifi available, groceries and swiss restaurant (yes, cheese foundue)Upvoted Mar 4
- FerasOctober 31, 2014One of the best airports ive ever been to. The people at the customs are very respectfull. The airport layout is very simple and straight forward without the unnecessary complications.Upvoted Jan 21
- Find a desk, which has power (various plugs) and free wifi. Great little place to do some work. One near A8
- Don't buy bottled water here for your flight..it's a scandalous £3.50-£5 a bottle. It's cheaper onboard the plane!! (Easyjet £2/bottle for HarrogateSpringwater-& that's bad enough for a Yorkshireman!)
- In a bus to the terminal? Arriving from a non-EU or non-Schengen country? Stay close to the right hand side doors, preferably the middle ones: you'll be first out for passport control.
- Get 90 minutes of free Wi-Fi by scanning your boarding pass on one of these machines. This one is located on the arrivals floor, right next to exit 3
- LufthansaJune 27, 2014Whether by bus, boat or tram - in Geneva, there are a lot of sights to see. Let yourself be inspired and experience the city in a new way! More in the LH Travel Report Geneva.
- The free transport ticket into Geneva is no longer offered as of 1 January 2022. There is a ticket machine inside baggage claim.
- Jack SmithMay 9, 2022Sad news, no more free 80 min rail tickets as of January 1st 2022. Still only one ticket machine in baggage hall, plenty more in railway station. Ask your hotel about the free transport card instead
- Ilari MarzanoMay 31, 2013The guy who invented the security check queue should get the Nobel price for the most unproductive innovation in the history of mankind. Be sure to take the priority lane.
- Don’t delay getting to baggage reclaim, they are super quick at transferring your luggage from the plane and it will be on the conveyor belt before you get to it. Also, food options reasonable.
- AniyaNovember 12, 2014As its name indicates, the Kiss & Fly area is not intended for parking, it's a 💋 & ✈️ only area, don't you just love it! 👌😄
- squatgirlAugust 31, 2014if you need a last-minute-present sprungli is a classic. their luxemburgerleri are world famous and as light as air. and chocolate is not bad neither 😜
- Well only know the french part. Have a beer at the Wellness bar and of course take a piece of delicious chocolate. When arriving take the free 2 hours public transport ticket at the machine.
- Adam NabilApril 17, 2017The airport itself is fine , you'll have everything you expect from a big airport, shops, restaurants, cafés. You won't get lost as everything is very well indicated. Come early for security checks.
- Always take the right-most booth to enter security, it will force you away from the old school X-rays with slow lines to the faster scanners. Even if the line looks longer, it's always faster.
- Simon HunterDecember 17, 2012Get the airport app, it allows you to track your flight and receive pushed notifications when your gate has been allocated together with approx time to get there, then again when flight ready to board
- Mark LeeJanuary 28, 2020Number 5 bus goes to Intercontinental & close to the United Nations. It’s quite a walk from arrivals, go upstairs just before SBB Tkt office and you’re there. Get free 80 min tkt in baggage reclaim.
- Helen HudsonDecember 23, 2019Quick exit. P51 offers decent long term parking. Le Chef upstairs is a hidden gem if you have to hang around.
- Geneva Airport, a little big airport in a little big city. Find here the only Burger King in Geneva or if you're fancier and like a nice view, the altitude bar & restaurant is really nice.
- Esra SüerdemJune 9, 2019If you are a transit passenger, you don’t have any chance to access to the main building. They are transferring you to a tiny area located in the aircraft parking zone. No smoking zone and no escape.
- Jiro SorianoApril 16, 2015Quick, efficient, direct. Surely you can get long queues at peek hour. Exceptional: public transport connectivity to Geneva and the rest of Switzerland.
- Nora -November 11, 2016Heaven ✈️ only one terminal, you will not be lost anymore 😌 you will find the gate easily and directly
- Magnus JernOctober 30, 2016Welcome to Geneva. Nice gateway to this amazing city. And yes, free wifi and pretty good good at the airport.
- Linda EOctober 20, 2013Go to Altitude above the shop and restaurant area in the departures section. Wonderful food with a view of the runway. Also does just drinks and coffee.
- Анастасия Морозова💋September 25, 2013The most strange airport! If you need smth you should go through all gates to find what you want... You need time to find smth here! So be patient! Wish you luck!
- Little ScrapesDecember 23, 2017After checking in, don't muck about. Crack straight on getting airside as security and passport control queues can take an hour or more to get through during busy periods. Some food options airside.
- Delia MartinezOctober 15, 2017Number of coffee shops inside, close to the city by bus and free ticket for public transportation.
- One of my favorite airports. It's fast. In and out in 10 minutes. A bit more if you come from France because your luggage first gets presented on the French side of the airport before being sent to th
- Pascal ColletJanuary 22, 2016If your flight is leaving from gate B make sure you do your souvenir purchase before leaving the main area (right after security). There is not much beside a coffee shop in gate B.
- Tiago CapalboJune 14, 2013The best airport that i have ever been in my life! If you arrive here the train to the city center is free!!! :) :) love switzerland!!
- Michel Van SteenbergenJanuary 29, 2015Nice airport, looks modern. Check-in and security are efficient, but the D-gates are quite far away.
- James CoakesMarch 3, 2014Goodie, the organic food bar, has plugs and good unlimited WiFi. It's perfect for a coffee before you stroll 20 yards to Burger King for tofu free lunch.
- Nice & efficient airport very close to the city center. Easiest to get into the city center of Geneva by train.
- Small but central. Take the train into town. Takes 7 min and if you are flying in you get a free ticket right before you come out of the baggage claim
- Love this airport. Very clean and organized. Helpul people. Free wifi. It's a bit too expensive, but so is mostly everything else in Geneva, so you what to expect.
- Douglas TalbotJuly 11, 2018Small ... so quick to get through, otherwise old, tired, not enough seating and staff who have forgotten how to smile and treat you like a human. What you expect at most airports.
- Mark RossettiNovember 28, 2015On the French side, get your bottled water at the vending machine upstairs instead of the cafe to save a couple francs.
- DavidMay 29, 2015Large, clean and convenient airport. Free WiFi upon registration but not always very stable.
- G IApril 5, 2018The worst airport in Switzerland. Total chaos. Forget about your connection flight if you have less than 1.30 hours. Just fly through Zurich.
- Anna MudrovaJune 26, 2013Lovely airport, the smallest international I have been to and the quickest in checking in! Geneva airport! I'm loving it!
- Maggie MacGDecember 3, 2016Pretty easy airport to navigate. The staff at the United counter were very friendly and super helpful.
- uaeyahMay 6, 2011Staff are super friendly. Loved the VIP treatment. Was escorted all the way from checkin desk to an exclusive lounge. See pics of lounge. Very private and comfortable.
- John GibbardFebruary 23, 2020An atrocious airport by modern standards. Cluttered and unclear signage, passengers processed sclerotically, the stench of cigarette smoke.
- Beautiful openair terrace at 1st floor before security check with restaurants and fast foods
