The souvenir gift shop is on the expensive side. The factorytour you watch a shortmovie, watch ice cream being made and get a free sample of the ice cream of the day at the end.
It may be cheesy but its a great place for visitors and can kick off a nice little run of "factory tour/store" places (Ben & Jerry's - Cabot Cheese Annex & the 2 others there - then CiderMill).
It was a fantastic tour that really covered the process also got free ice cream at the end. Awesome gift shop and amazing ice cream stand. Get there early.
You get a free sample of ice cream at the end of the tour! The sample is something they mix up uniquely for the factory, to test our weird flavor combinations.
While visiting colleges in Vermont this is a must stop along the way. These tour guides will give you a nice change of pace from the college tours AND you end your tour here with free ice cream!
Love the Frozen Greek yogurt w/bananas and peanut butter!!! Good cheap kids gift, back of store hanging up...less then 2 bucks, ice cream "shovel" spoon!
Shorttour with a GREAT guide. Sad that you don't have a choice in the sample (whatever flavor they want to dish out). Was okay.. kids liked the graveyard (free - no tix needed).
We loved our visit! Nice surprise to check in and receive a free tour. Sampled the Maple Blondie ice cream, and our nine year old was able to get seconds.
The Scoop Shop is like other Ben & Jeery's, so they DO sell kid-size cups & cones even though they aren't listed on the menu. If you just want a bit, save some money & order this instead!
We loved our ice cream sample: Late Night Snack (vanilla bean ice cream, caramel swirls, and chocolate covered potato chips)...especially since the tour was free with a 4sq checkin!

For all the euphoric flavors you can't get enough of – especially the ones you can't get in ordinary stores – nobody scoops Ben & Jerry's better than we do at our scoop shops.
