Welcome to el paso! If you are looking for a good bar while you're in town go to The Hoppy Monk. Great service and very knowledgeable staff. Ask the bartenders for recommendations!
This is a great airport. For all those people complaining, flying once a year in southwest, does not qualify you to make such statements about this place. Very clean, staff at Delta is awesome- ELP has free Wi-Fi. SSID: DigitalElPaso. The city also provides free Wi-Fi in public buildings and Downtown.

Just like the tips below,most hard core security screening & longest lines (especially in the mornings). LAX & London Heathrow are mild in comparison.Several times almost missed flights here.- Really beautiful airport with leather lounge chairs and full top to botton viewing windows. People offering you cart rides as you get off of the plane, too!

Don't know what everyone is talking about but there's almost never anyone in line for security when I'm here! This is a perfect small airport.

Very quick and easy airport to get in and out! Rental cars right on site! Gate A has better food than Gate B.

This airport is nice for its location. Yes, sometimes security is super slow...not all the time. Nice views from concourse areas of the mountains.
A great, clean airport. If you are traveling out of Terminal A and want some decent food, walk down to Terminal B. Its about a 10 minute walk, but the food selection is much better.
I love my home airport so easy to use and such friendly people!
The airport is cozy, beautiful, and has everything you need. No fluff... Just friendly people!

Its a small airport so check in is quick. Grab a coffee at the Starbucks downstairs and drink it on the patio is you're waiting for someone
Expensive to fly out of El Paso. If you are trying to save some money you can fly out of Houston or San Antonio and save a few hundred bucks!
Small airport with a Carlos and Mickeys pre security if you want one last great Mexican meal
Slowest, least efficient TSA I've ever seen. But they do have free wifi and comfy chairs. Just get here early enough to wait in the security line.

Other than a particularly slow TSA (I come here every month), the airport is easy and painless.
If you are flying Southwest, plan on waiting in line. No self check-in kiosks! 😔

The new rental car lot is much more convenient. No more walking down the hill through a dust storm.- When children under 12 are traveling alone they do not have to take off their shoes when going through security!
Leave it to the American Airlines ticket counter to ruin an otherwise great time here in El Paso. Showed up 90 min before my flight and about 60 of those to get checked in.

Crisco KiddNovember 20, 2011about 20 TSA agents and 3 ppl in line. Our American tax dollars / flight fees spent well... plus, overly feely/molesting body scanner agents. They should leave the eyeliner at home....

This is the best airport! It's so close to an IHOP, a Holiday Inn, and a Peter Piper!
At 5am the lines for security are longer than you'd expect. New body scanners take more time than traditional metal detectors.
