- The good thing about Auckland Airport’s domestic terminal is that it will cease to exist in 5 years time when a new domestic terminal is built directly connecting it to the international terminal.

- For those Welly flyers taking Dunkin' Donuts back home, if you find that the cart near the baggage screening doesn't have the donuts you want, there's another cart near the regional check in :)
- If you're following the green line to get to the International Terminal don't get confused when it stops suddenly. Check the opposite side of the road. The line continues there.
- Airside by Gate 28 is a relaxing complimentary massage chair. At least there was in November 2022.
- Check your flight often since it’s so unpredictable due to cancellation, delay, crew problems etc...

- Trix MFebruary 24, 2013NEW traffic system does NOT allow private pickups/drop-offs from directly in front of the terminal. Be warned! Private vehicles now routed thru centre concourse.
- Never enough Air NZ staff around when you have trouble checking in for flights - always chaos when flight disruptions are in effect and there is a lack of clear communication to travelers
- Always try Airbus express first - way cheaper than a shuttle and just as fast if you are heading to central Auckland
- Airbus Express is the fastest and cheapest way to get into town. $16 one way, departs every 15mins, and stops all through downtown Auckland. www.airbus.co.nz
- Great Mocha at Take Off Espresso but crap service. Hanging up from your gossip session on the phone and a smile shouldn't be too much to ask.
- Delicious juice at Tank, get something with beetroot and ginger if you have a long flight ahead
- Make sure you grab a trolley quick if you or someone needs it.. They go quick!
- If your a Kiwi Sports fan, always keep an eye out for Sport celebs! & keep a camera handy! =)

- Lane RettigJanuary 26, 2017Free Wi-Fi is limited to 30 mins (boo!) but sit by the entrance to the Air NZ lounge to snag their free unlimited wifi.
- If you're flying back to Wellington then make sure you get a dozen Dunkin Donuts for friends and family ;)
- Luke TubergenJuly 22, 2011Do anything than fly on Jetstar. Flew two days to get here and they cancelled my last flight, leaving me stuck at the airport for 13 hours.... Air New Zealand is on time.
