    Passing through the doors of this 300-years old shop will take you back in time. Magical. Vast selection of wines and whiskies. Very helpful and knowledgable staff. Highly recommended.

    Been in here twice now. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Explained to me that the wines on display in the shop (a fair few!) represent around 1% of the different varieties they have in the cellar!!

    Go see Rob in the Spirits Room. He knows his stuff. Always able to recommend something fabulous -- and you can taste before you buy! Catherine in the wine dept is also v. knowledgeable and helpful

    At 300 years old, this is now the oldest shop front in the UK. And it began as a coffee merchant! Starbucks have a lot to live up to.

    This use to be a coffee shop hence the scales inside. It then became fashionable to weight your self and amongst the records they have the weight of Napoleon III.
