Nice, mid size college football stadium but absolutely no covered seating anywhere. Very strange in a city where temps are still 90+ in the fall in the sun.
Built in 1930 and renovated in 2011-2012, Amon G. Carter Stadium is named for the late publisher of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and champion of TCU athletics.
Construction of Amon G. Carter Stadium began in 1929. The Frogs played their first game in the stadium against the University of Arkansas on October 11, 1930 - which they won! Go Frogs!

Although the Frogs can't even fill this place up when they're ranked no. 10, it's not a terrible place to see a game. There's a Fred's burgers inside and general admission in the end zone.
