Scallop with tequila lime ice appetizer is amazing. The venison medallions are great. Top it all off with a West End Manhattan...one of the smoothest and well balanced drinks I've ever had.

I love the “simple preparations” — you can add grilled salmon, chicken or steak to their absolutely perfect green salad. It’s a delicious, simple meal.

From Washingtonian: bottomless mimosas in unusual flavors, poached eggs (Benedicts, crabcake with hollandaise), chiles rellenos, pickled herring, buttermilk biscuits

The brunch is great! Small plates & delicious mimosas! Try the cheese plate (under desserts) & the White Peach Vanilla mimosa - they pair perfectly! I also recommend the ceviche for non-brunch hours.

Shrimp tempura is very good. Don't think it was great tempura (coating was off a bit), but it was possibly about the best fried shrimp I've had in recent memory.

medium well burger with enough extra melted cheese (white cheddar, gruyer, swiss...) for the jalepeño slices to get lost in. unfortunately adding bacon is subject to inconsistent post brunch supply

You can count on good burgers and soups but the standout dish is the most out-there: a salt-rimmed margarita glass filled with lime-marinated bay scallops, tequila ice, and sour cream.

The gnudis are heaven. The service is awesome and they sometimes have festivals with set menus for 50usd.

Careless service and not honoring reservation requests. Ris has become a shadow of its former self. Shame!
