- Always try to support our airport. It is improving with more flights added regularly. Was nice to see it busy for a change.Upvoted Feb 14
- Douwe de VriesNovember 24, 2016What a great airport! Super quiet, but still some nice bars to wait for your flight.
- BrunelJanuary 3, 2015There is a cafe befor going through customs. Duty free area is small but tidy. There is a store, WHSmith, cafe and executive lounge. There is also a small play area for small kids next to the lounge.
- Very efficient long term parking with prebooked parking in long-term parking 2. The barrier open automatically using number plate recognition
- Sit.comJanuary 19, 2014Do you know that there is a wonderful express bus service from Cardiff to the airport, and only for £5 (£8 return).
- They just opened a brand new waiting area. Not sure how justified this move is though given how quiet the airport is. 😅

- Andrew StephensApril 30, 2013Quiet airport but in the wrong place to the west of Cardiff and beyond Barry. One advantage though - no lengthy queues and delays for luggage
- Mark MagnanteOctober 24, 2011Don't rely on public transport to take you into Cardiff - bus/trains only leave once an hour, if there's 2 of you may be cheaper to take a taxi
- Jeffrey-Ryan B.October 28, 2014One of the two ways to arrive or depart Cardiff, if you do not drive or take rail into the city you will fly into Cardiff xx
- New Media Travel ManagerJanuary 28, 2012In Wales, must try the Castle Cottage hotel in Harlech. Amazing food
- Sean RankinJanuary 20, 2011Look out if you get S2 on your boarding card it means you are in for a full search. Takes up to 25 minutes!
- Alexandros KambasSeptember 21, 2013Get ready to get wet if someone's picking you up an it's raining. Surely there can be a better welcome to Wales than this.
- New Media Travel ManagerJanuary 28, 2012In northern Wales, stay at the incredible inn Tyddyn Llan ( tdhin klan) in the tiny town of Llandrillo
- No toilets until after immigration, charge £2 to use a cart that was free at Dulles-wanted to exchange $24 they offered £8 or 3:1 v 1.6:1 and bag tagged 'priority' by KLM came out dead last. #epicfail
- Caro PhilApril 28, 2013Wifi is not free ; 5 for an hour and buses to the city centre only run every 45 mins.
- Michael Fr. StrømbergSeptember 16, 2012Stay away from Echo bar. Dirty forks. Terrible food. Tried a cooked hamburger and chips which were not properly cooked. My friend had a pizza tasting like and old newspaper
- Graham CoxMay 7, 2011Border agency staff seem to value officiousness over friendliness. Surprising for Wales
- Gareth KitchenerFebruary 21, 2011Avoid dropping off loved ones, they charge a quid even for a quick in-out!
- Reminds me of Queen Street in Cardiff city centre. Lots closed, poor facilities, dirty tables...
- Areej WilliamsJuly 24, 2011Don't order burgers in the Echo Bar it is really not worth it!! The chips are great though!!!
- Mike BrownFebruary 10, 2011Steve, it's an airport!! I don't go there to shop. How are the planes? ;-)
