- An all round classic pub. In the summer enjoy sitting on the Heath in the sun, in the winter enjoy a cosy sofa in the warmth. The food is excellent, and the drinks are well priced for Blackheath.
- David BirkettDecember 21, 2014Nice friendly pub which serves traditional food. Has a real log fire which makes it cosy in the winter and a conservatory in the summer which keeps the place full of light.
- Dan BrownApril 1, 2013Good beer, comfortable, lets dogs in (and gave us a bowl of water and dog biscuits), good £10 deal on a very good burger + a beer, and friendly staff. Staff need better communication.
- Best pub on the Heath. Friendly staff, solid food and a great selection of drinks. Prices are reasonable too. Strong recommendation.
- JamieJuly 1, 2012Fish & Chips is highly recommended.. Good service here also even tho people have said it's crap! I found everyone really friendly!!
- Brooke LouiseDecember 31, 2017Two vegan mains on offer! Lasagne and burger/fries options. Menu changes regularly and clearly identifies vegan items.
- Raymond SimpkinsAugust 4, 2017Good Food enjoy sitting in the gardens at the back in the sun haven't tried winter yet but will do great pub
- David AllenAugust 31, 2015Good selection of beers, great beer garden. Food was good too, tried the burger and short rib.
- DGCMay 26, 2016It was full of Burnley fans after they had just become Champions of the Championship after beating Charlton Athletic 3-0 and promoted to the Big League. 23, 23 undeafeated...... 👍
- Colin PalgraveJanuary 17, 2022Plenty of choices for food and the staff are very helpful and friendly
- Nick VarneyDecember 24, 2013This place would be awesome but in a half empty pub I can't hear the person next to me because of the loudness of the music. Unnecessary.
- Etienne PollardJuly 17, 2016Sunday roast was dry and over cooked. Crab cakes had no discernible crab. Salad was a sad, vinegar drowned affair.
- Graeme GouldenNovember 28, 2010Great place, pleasant surroundings, good food; but iffy service and organisation crumbles at busy times
- The Eton Mess is delicious if you fancy a pudding after dinner. Highly recommended.
- Only half the food menu available - shocking. Only good for a beer in the garden
- Service is getting shit. God help of you want to get served. Most staff haven't a clue how to serve. More interested in socialising behind the bar.
- Deal of the Week: Hoegaarden 3 pints for the price of 2
