- Do laps on the 'F' lift that goes from a midstation up to the summit. It's way less crowded, and you can hit up Minya Konka, Upper K-27, East Side Drive, and Milky Way -- all great runs.Upvoted Feb 17
- Get here either early (8:30) or late (12:00) if you're renting. The lines get ridiculously long during peak times when busses arrive. Really nice facilities if you don't mind crowds.Upvoted Feb 17
- Rewan PartiMarch 20, 2015As a beginner this is idle for skiing. They have the buddy slopes and then gradual level increases. Make sure you have your ski pants before hand, shops here are relatively more expensive.

- Mary Elise ChavezJune 9, 2012Zip lining in the summer is a must!! Do the sky trek course, it's the best and 'most advanced'. Hilarious zip guides will make the day a blast. Incredible views!!
- Margo Robinson GiambarresiMarch 23, 2013Way sweeter than expected...nice powdery groomers, fun bumps. Turkey focaccia with Gouda Sammy was deelish in base lodge. All around good day.
- Take the lift line for the triple to the right of the high speed lift at the base. Way shorter lines.
- ThomasMarch 21, 2015The cafeteria in the ski lessons and rental lodge is much more sane and clean than the main lodge
- Jessica ReedMarch 29, 2013This is my favorite place in the world. The summit lodge has amazing potato soup, get it in a bread bowl.
- Inna KorsMarch 20, 2012Great place to go just to hit the slopes. Not too far from NY, so a trip there for the day and back is easy without overnight stay.
- Noel SantosDecember 19, 2015Everything, had not snowed so no skiing, but filled time with all of the other wonderful amenities
- Lizzie TaylorMay 29, 2012Make sure when you zipline have Robin and Keith as guides. I had a great time. You get fun nicknames. From Braveheart. :)
- Katelyn CaillouetFebruary 21, 2015The lodge at the top of the tallest lift is a great spot to warm up with hot cocoa!
- Dana KotlerMarch 1, 2010head for the back side to avoid the crowds. annapurna, clair's, and 44 if it's open. in front, hit the cliff, racer's edge, eisenhower, then tackle k27 followed by mossy brook trail for a break. :)

- Hunter Mountain ResortAugust 4, 2011There's soft serve ice cream available in the base lodge! Available Wed-Sun in the Marketplace!
- Get here early and head right for the west side before anyone else.
- Hit the runs under the main lift first, but as soon as it gets too crowded head over to Hunter West
- Lauren GundrumJanuary 2, 2012Use the lockers inside the restrooms. They're $1 instead of $5 + $5 deposit for the ones by equipment rental.
- go here from nyc with livingsocial adventures any weekend in the winter
- Sharpen those edges! You don't know ice 'till you know Hunter Mountain.
