Todd ShearerOctober 1, 2013The kid-themed rooms are worth it. We bumped upgraded at the last minute (check-in) and were really glad we did. The kids had such a blast and the difference is minimal.
John CeApril 9, 2013If you don't want to get run over by kids all the time, then go during the week (off season). Weekends can get crowded and a bit loud. Places to eat? The buffet was good, if you can catch them open.Upvoted Mar 10

- John CeApril 9, 2013Check in on Friday can be lengthy, but they speed through it pretty quick. Often times the clerk speaks so fast, feel free to have them repeat anything several times if needed.
The Magicquest game ia a big hit with the kids. The water park is a lot of fun. Try to get a room that is not close the elevator so you are not disturbed by the gamers.
Super DadMarch 11, 2017Water park was ok. Food is not good (go to downtown Grapevine to eat). Magic Wand game entertained my kids for days. Fire alarm emptied the hotel at 3am - not cool! Themed rooms are great!

Kids Cabins are fun. Bring cooler w/drinks & snacks. There are plenty of places to eat other than hotel that is much better & affordable!! I travel a lot for work saying that bedding is VERY HARD!

Eric COctober 21, 2010This Great Wolf is nicer than the one in KC. Staff seems friendly. Free wifi with a strong signal. As others mentioned, it's loud, but hey, it's meant for kids. The bed leaves me with a stiff neck.

Dinner buffet is overpriced for such a small selection. Beds are also very crappy, but on the bright side, kids love this place :)

Darrell HSeptember 5, 2013The room TVs are on an arm and swing out from the wall. Pull gently on both sides to get access to the electric plug behind. Also, if you have RCA cables plugged in, it goes to line in automatically.
