For such a small country Belgium has some of the world's most amazing railway station. This is definitely a masterpiece of modern architecture. Too bad the train network is a disaster.

Magnificent station in the tradition of the old railway cathedrals. And the food in the brasserie/restaurant is excellent, even if it's a bit pricey.

If you travel far for at least three times a year ask for the railpass which costs you about 70 euro for 10 single voyages from whatever station in Belgium to whatever other station in Belgium.

Il faut arrêter de croire que vous pouvez vous mettre librement à gauche ou à droite sur un escalator. Tt le monde à droite, comme en GB. Il y a des gens qui ont des correspondances, vous les freinez!

Der Bahnhof wurde nach Entwürfen des berühmten Architekten Santiago Calatrava komplett neu erbaut und 2009 eingeweiht. Besonders markant: der an eine Schanze erinnernde Bogen des Daches.

A ceux qui embarquent ou débarquent de voiture, ce n'est pas en face de la gare et encore moins dans la bande des bus. Le kiss'n ride se trouve à l'étage, à l'abri de la pluie en plus !!

Passer par cette gare pour ce rendre à Maastricht ou Aachen est un supplice. Entre trains supprimés, retards énormes, impossibilité d'attraper sa correspondance,... + employés incapables de vous aider
