    You need to book your tour 2 weeks in advance. So no spontaneous trips there. Anyway, just check the website before going as they close from time to time.

    Been here 100+ times
    USNO isn't open to the public except for limited tours that require advance reservations. It has one of the best astronomy libraries in the world.
