- Emily SzeApril 16, 2015Bangkok Airways has a beautiful lounge in both the international and domestic departure areas with lots of yummy food! Beware they make you check any bag more than 5kg.

- Andrea Montoya-ChanSeptember 20, 2014Taxi prices in Phuket are expensive in general. If you're travelling solo or as a couple, get a mini bus to your hotel instead for 150-200THB/person. You could easily spot them as you exit customs.
- Guido GybelsFebruary 11International arrivals are efficient and the small terminal is quick to get through. At busy times, book the VIP immigration service, you'll jump the queues and be through in minutes!
- Jing EunikeMay 24, 2015Make sure you stop on the correct floor otherwise have to walk and turn (1st floor is arrival, 2ND floor for departurt to 1St floor) but to buy ticket must get to 1st floor..

- Andrew WongFebruary 11, 2017Amazing continued transformation! Still with a laid back atmosphere. But with only one lift to get from Arrivals/can rentals to Departure, can be quite congested
- GloOctober 16, 2019LONG ride, but there is a public bus option for ~170 baht. It travels between the airport and Rawai (southern tip of the island), and stops at Patong, Kata Beach etc.
- Kat MendozaSeptember 1, 2018For a cheaper option to directly to your hotel, especially if you’re traveling solo, go get a minivan when you take the farthest exit on your left.

- Tayyare FlyingApril 12, 2015crowded airport where you need to get in a line every second. Needs refurbishment, such a touristic place deserves a better one. Views during landing and take-off are amazing, don't miss it:
- j lNovember 18, 2019The airport’s kind of warm, especially in the domestic departures area. Once past security, there are food options for the domestic terminal - Burger King, Subway, Bintang cafe, The Coffee Club etc.
- KC KooAugust 6, 2015My advices always is to come earlier since it's still a small airport and normally you need to wait for nearly an hour to get check-in.
- Soumar TalJanuary 22, 2015The mini-buses you need to take from here will take you to a "booking-agency". They'll get pissed if you don't book a hotel with them, so just tell them you've already found one.
- Leo HwangNovember 29, 2010Come early to the airport and get your last thai food fix at the Thai airways restaurant before immigration. Very authentic and not at all bad. Try the steamed fishballs, really fresh and bouncy.
- Make sure you plan your trip ahead. If you're arriving anytime before 7am, there are no minibuses. If you're traveling alone, mini buses are ideal as its only THB180 to Patong from the airport.

- Mark GDecember 11, 2019Always get a taxi from the airport to your hotel. It’s a bit more expensive but less faff than getting the bus or taxi bus - trust me on that one

- Eda FerligulNovember 30, 2017Coming in is taking ages (neverending lines), but going away is fairly easy. Not big but enough...
- ElisaDecember 30, 2014If travelling with Bangkok airways make sure to chill in their lounge it's for everyone flying with them free drinks and snacks and wifi.
- June T.May 4, 2016Take Airport bus to town 100-120, Patong 150 (~1hr). You can take airport bus to Central and then take local bus to the pier for Phi Phi island.
