So naturally. Small streets in the heart of the city are so romantic but be careful when night comes. Our girls were scared. Find places which allow you to get on the roof.

Try out the New Doubletree by Hilton Stone Town Restaurant on the rooftop with a beautiful sunset view, my favorite is the seafood dish! :)

Feel the Persian atmosphere. Very atmospheric in general. Just too much souvenir vendors and tourists. Don't miss the Slavery Museum!

When going on a tour through Stone Town, don't do your shopping at the first shops... The shops at the end of the tour have the exact same merchandise at a quarter of the price than the first shops...

Don't get fooled to shop in the first place you see. Go through the streets and you'll find the same souvenir for less than half price

Not sure what people enjoy here. Old town is nice but with few options, high prices, and annoying atmosphere. Why don't you go to Thailand instead - better beaches, food, prices, everything.

If you're not a local from Zanzibar, and you don't have a strong stomach, then I suggest you avoid the meat market - especially on a warm/hot day...

В Стон Тауне больше двух дней делать нечего. Но посмотреть этот город стоит обязательно! Старый город, форт, дом Фредди Меркури, местный рынок. И главное, торгуйтесь, на 50-70% цену сбить можно.

Памятник ЮНЕСКО. Но не повторяйте наших ошибок – не задерживайтесь долго и езжайте учиться кайтингу в Paje или откисать в Нунгви. На Даладале (маршрутка) цена всего 2000 шиллингов.
