- Frano KovacFebruary 18, 2015Very nice and authentic old style Frankfurter restaurant with traditional dishes and apple wine. A must for a tourist who seeks and wants to feel the local atmosphere.
- Roberta CorreaFebruary 25, 2018Excellent food and great cost-benefit. Very tasteful and big portions. Also the place is very traditional, it definitely worth the visit.
- Evgeny VitkovskiyJanuary 17, 2018Original Frankfurt area type of the restaurant, apfelwein and no beer, long tables, free seat, locals - lovely!
- Степан ЯрцевAugust 15, 2015German restaurant without bier, everyone drinks apple wine (sour and cheap, good in hot whether). Big portions, tables for 8 people: don't hesitate to seat with strangers!
- LipstouchedFebruary 5, 2017Grilled Pork Ribs is a MUST order. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Portions are huge, so sharing is caring!
- Nadia AlmaAugust 8, 2017If typical cuisine of Frankfurt is what you're searching for, then that's the perfect place for you. Always busy but very good quality. Service could be friendlier though!

- Denis ShabanovFebruary 26, 2015Very authentic place with simple but tasty food. Apple wine tastes like dry cider. Take green sauce - it's super delicious
- FrancisMay 22, 2017Classic. Many of the waiters are Croatian, but very unfriendly unless you go there with a Croatian priest. Try the Mispelchen.
- Harald B.January 17Typical local restaurant, order apple wine - don‘t call it Cidre, don‘t order beer (they don‘t have any), have a Schnitzel wirh Green Sauce or Bratwurst
- Asking for beer here is like going to a vegan restaurant and complain that there are no steaks on the menu!Enjoy the Applewine,it might taste a little sour, but after the third glass you will be a fan!
- Tania YoloMarch 19, 2017Must visit, order schnitzel with green sauce, apple wine, and peach in schnapps for desert
- Great Schnitzel, grüne Soße and - obviously - Apfelwein. Waiters are quite rude sometimes.
- Mateusz DubielNovember 15, 2014It's a very proper german restaurant, food quality and prices are fine. Lot of people, probably most of them are tourists. Rumour is that they have lunch menu for locals. No beer inside!
- Aya MattMarch 19, 2014Established since 1902. This is one of most famous restaurant in Frankfurt. Try Apfelwein-apple wine!

- Konstantinos GiannakasAugust 30, 2014Try the apple wine, a local specialty (apfelwein) it may taste bitter at first but you will grow on you!
- Søren LundAugust 22, 2012Good, solid German food served with apple wine. Nice atmosphere and very authentic surroundings. Highly recommended.
- Cian MulliganDecember 1, 2013No matter what people say, stay away from the apple wine. Fantastic place otherwise!
- Katrin V.October 6, 2011Good local food, fair prices and typical 'Apfelweinkneipen' atmosphere... Busy, lively, loud..

- OlyaMarch 14, 2015German food. Very traditional, very loud. No beer at all. No hot drinks. Apfelshtrudel is the only desert. Ok on the whole
- The place is very touristic but not worse because of that. Book few days before.
- Dspn LNovember 12, 2018The rudest waiters. The food is typically german - and I guess decent for what you pay for.
- Russell Meyer JrJanuary 1, 2014The food was good, typical German food, the service is horrible and the waiters are rude.
- Fab. M.September 30, 2012Not as good as the hotel concierge recommended. Awful service; incredibly no beer, just apple cider. And, finally, a mouse ran through the room where we were eating.
