The biggest oyster I’ve had in my whole life. Quite good and tasty as well. Impeccable service, friendly, at your disposal, nice fancy atmosphere, good Gironde white wine, and a good mackerel burger.

The pub is very nice but you have to try the restaurant at the back - the wine list is great, the service is exceptional and the food is sensational! A real gem in gastro pub loaded North London.

Excellent food, lovely place but sometimes I find the staff a little offish and it takes over 40 mins per course to arrive.. Still worth a visit

Try the rump steak: cooked as asked, comes with two different kinds of mustard, horseradish, roast tomato and chips. Very generous portion, too.

Reliable, consistent, reasonably priced - St John's is one of the best kept secrets in London. Come hungry!

Great food, somewhat busy at times, and can fill up with families, but a pleasant, high end gastropub.

Breaded pollock and chips is delicious, so is the pheasant - avoid the breaded halloumi as it's just huge chunks of cheese with no sauce!

Great food, one of THE best food pubs around here if not in fact the best, and there is loads of competition. Check it out.

The scallops here are brilliantly tasty. Don't bother with the snails though. The portion is too small to leave any kind of an impression.
