This hotel is in a great location but it really is a bit dated and in need of renovation. Nevertheless, the view from the gym on the 37th floor is amazing
Breakfast before 8:30am to avoid the bustle. Great location with the bus terminal and train station nearby. Walkable to a lot of tour destinations like Karl Johan street, Munch, Oslo Opera House.
Nice hotel but as it was quite busy you could see it unfortunately very well with the speed if the internet in the room, impossible to watch any short streaming content on a news site
While the beds are comfortable and the location is convenient from Oslo S train station, the hotel is dated and the elevators take forever. The breakfast was way too busy and the food was horrible.
Quite recently renovated and they seem to have decided business travelers are not a priority. None of the rooms have desks anymore meaning if you need to get some work done stay somewhere else.
While there were a few minor issues, overall my experience was positive. One thing that was a bit disappointing was that there were no slippers provided in the room 🤷♂️
Go to the skybar. Especially at night. If you are a guest at the hotel, skip their breakfast, either in the restaurant or in your room, and go outside instead to have a good Norwegian one.
