Underground mall connecting 3 MRT stations sooo lots of shops and restaurant choices, nice to just browse around. Mostly everything's cheap. Take MRT (Red/blue line) to Taipei Main Station

Head up to the 2nd floor for all you foodies. There's a food court dedicated to beef noodles! I always stop at the Lao Tian Lu kiosk for my favorite braised meat needs.

For food head to the Breeze food court at the top floor of the station main hall! There's a wide selection of food available here. Prizes are reasonable for the quantity of food you get.

Instead of taking a taxi to the airport, take the train! Make sure you're in the express train and not the commuter train (same price, but takes longer). Just ask 'Express?' to one of the employees.

Get your EasyCard at the EasyCard Service Center near Exit M6. The easiest way to get here is from the Banan (Blue) Line platform.

If you are transiting to MRT from HSR or Taiwan Railway, be sure that you look for the stairs for exit to MRT lines - it will save you a good 10 minute.

Such a maze of a place w/more complex exits than any other Asian metros I've been in. The quantity isn't the issue, rather the poor design that only adds to the confusion of finding a simple way out

If you want to go to Taipei 101 from here, you can just take the newly opened MRT line called the Xinyi line. Head for the red line platform but wait for the train that is heading for Xiangshan
