Great place to have a drink in the center. Long working hour. Jenevers are near. Personal favorite: ok selection of oud bruin, which is rare (e.g. liefmans, duchesse de bourgogne, rodenbach grand cru)

Ghent is a great city, and this is a great beer pub. Augustijn is a very good suggestion (you can drink it only at few places in Belgium), but eg Brugse Zot is also a nice try. Read more

Always check the specials on draft. Had a 'witte lambiek' from Timmermans yesterday. Great surprise to find stuff like that. Staff knows their beers so ask them.

Extensive beer collection in the middle of the old city. Just stop here and enjoy the beer list as far as you can get.
