This place is WELL worth a visit now it's under new ownership. Loads of space, great crowd, wide selection of food & drinks - and dog friendly. Perfect! Your new favourite pub.
It's all change again at the Billet , will change ownership at the end of Oct. Youngs are taken over, it will be a big change from the old , old Billet (up to 2013) & the Old Billet (2013 to date)- Great spot. Ridiculous beer garden and cracking food. The black pudding scotch egg is easily the best 5 quid I've spent this year!

Rag BOctober 29, 2014Really good squid + Whitebait. Plus they sell beer which is wet and cold and makes your head spin.- New owners are doing it up, will soon be a real ale place, with 5 ale pumps. Will be a dramatic change from John Smiths. Due to re-open early July .

Lydia MarmotJanuary 25, 2012Seriously expensive & v small variety of drinks. Handy location near station though.- Old fashioned east end boozer, pool table,lager and keg beer. Seems local only territory, not a lot of passing trade I'll wager.
- It's not expensive ! About £3 a pint , cheap for a London pub .
