- Andrew OrOctober 20, 2013I’d recommend a seat by the window in the atrium. Generous portions and excellent service. Try the Roast sirloin of Galloway beef with a giant Yorkshire pudding or free range pork belly on Sunday.
- Leo C.February 15, 2016The poshest full English breakfast you'll ever find. Great location and you can have a nice walk at Borough Market. They serve great beef Wellington, and have a surprisingly wide selection of teas!
- Slynky CatOctober 15, 2014Great location, good atmosphere & brilliant food. The specials are always excellent, especially steak & pork belly. Great selection of wines & cocktails too. Lovely staff. Definitely a favourite.
- James HSeptember 13, 2014Get away from the hubbub on the mezzanine. Fillet of Cornish hakewith whipped sweetcorn, Bath Pig chorizo and Padron peppers. Quite an elegant dish.
- Suzi Edwards-AlexanderApril 1, 2014Check out Roast To Go. The pork, crackling and apple sauce roll is amazing. Don't forget to add english mustard!
- WE ARE THOMASOctober 9, 2013Fantastic place for a work lunch. Food was great and the service even better. If you are seeking a venue that is impressive but not over stated then Roast gets our thumbs up!
- Jeffrey JamesSeptember 12, 2014The food was very good & fresh. The partridge is delicious & the wild duck was moist & tender. Service was quite slow & they forgot some orders. Otherwise a good place & nice ambience.
- Séverine GodetJanuary 9, 2014Great location, Nice view overlooking the market and traditional english meals, but way too fat! Duck grease in the crab starters, pig belly with grilled fat ok but fat inside was a tad too much \o/
- Chris R (thechristophe)September 20, 2017Good for a special meal, with a separate vegetarian menu so everyone is happy.
- Liam TaaffeDecember 21, 2011The best Pork Belly dish in London with fantastic setting in the heart of Borough Market. Good value for money too, book well in advance for a table as its always fully booked.
- Just eaten pork belly sandwich with crackling and apple sauce. Expensive @ £6.50 but amazing. Really outstanding. Massive amount of pork and crackling in a medium sized baguette.
- Tanya ZMay 6, 2013Food is perfect! We had a rib-eye, rack of lamb, heirloom carrots, chicken broth and chargrilled asparagus with smoked salmon, all fantastic!
- AlistairApril 18, 2015Touristy with prices to match. Food was tasty and portions large but came out a little too quickly. Extensive (and expensive) wine list but the English white was lovely. Basically, paying for location
- EpicuriousAugust 3, 2014Gaze down on the fresh harvest while you plow through dishes that don't let the rump roast sideline all those ripe, glossy fruits and vegetables. Read more
- Steve SimpsonFebruary 7, 2011Everything here is great, location, setting, service and food...the best produce London has to offer...you want to know what great english food is all about forget the fancy names. Its got to be Roast
- Ronald DLNovember 10, 2016Enjoy views of the market and delicious British food. High quality in service and product
- Amber WoodwardNovember 20, 2016If you are after a vegetarian Sunday Roast beware! The roast potatoes are cooked in beef dripping with no alternative option offered, despite there being a separate vegetarian menu.
- Get a loyalty card if you are a regular visitor and do try the weekend burger very good indeed if that is your thing
- Steve RhodesAugust 20, 2017The Pork Belly was most enjoyable as was the Apple and Blackberry crumble. Recommended.
- EpicuriousAugust 23, 2010Located right in the middle of Borough Market, Roast gets all of its produce from its neighbors. If you're a vegetarian, this restaurant is for you as it has a wide variety of meatless meals.
- Jo AldousFebruary 21, 2015The breakfast was a bit dry. It was served very quickly after ordering so you could tell everything had been kept warm. Hot chocolate was good though. Generally prefer breakfast at Brindisa.
- Matt Ta-MinJanuary 15, 2015Fantastic english food. Great service and a really nice open and airy light setting.
- FilmsquareNovember 25, 2013Simon and Elizabeth go for an awkward date at Roast in Trance (2013), where Simon has a strange feeling he's been there before. Of course he has been before and we see this later in the film.
- Always delicious, hearty British food. Great service and lovely venue.
- Christina ForniDecember 15, 2014It does exactly what it says on the door. The roasts here are incredible.
- Amrita LangbourOctober 12, 2013Good food. Although a bit overpriced for what is on the menu as it's all easily accessible all over london for 2/3rds less. Nevertheless I would recommend the steak.
- The pork belly sandwich is delicious piggy fun. Being a pork sandwich, it is always best with extra apple sauce. Devils on horseback (Thu-Sat only) are lovely as well.
- Antonia KrastevaFebruary 2, 2013Really good food and service. Pork belly is a must. Rib eye was so delicious ! Going there again!
- W Scott WilsonApril 23, 2013Great London experience! A must! Outstanding food, drinks, and an axing staff!
- Oliver Op de BeeckMarch 14, 2014Definitely don't drink the Pilsner. Weakest beer I have ever tasted! But I'm from Belgium so..
- W Scott WilsonApril 24, 2013Best cocktails in London. Try the Ol' Fashioned or the Tequila Twighlight!
- Alla AltuninaNovember 28, 2012The best place for Saturday lunch! And the cocktails are super delicious!
- Kaylie MJanuary 18, 2014Sticky date pudding comes with creme fraishe, it would be better with clotted cream.
- Jackie S.February 16, 2012Gets extra points at breakfast for serving tremendous black pudding as a side, try it with the eggs benedict.
- NinoAugust 1, 2012Bacon butty is great. Piled with thick dry cure bacon, not just one or two piddly rashers.
- Nick VarneyJuly 20, 2016Always amazing for breakfast. Though don't go to work after - you'll need a nap.
- SwarmstrongSeptember 27, 2014Roast pork and crackling sandwich with apple sauce exists on another plane of taste
