- Best ramen in Vancouver. Must have the chau siu (pork belly) on the side.
- Eldon KymsonMay 13, 2015The best ramen I've had outside of Japan. Ironically enough, it's a Japanese chain. But that's what makes it authentic and awesome.
- Y SOctober 11, 2016Fantastic ramen. Make sure to try the pork jowl ramen, salt flavored. Consider 10 to 15 minute wait time before you get seated around lunch time. Crowded dining area with no privacy, but fun.
- Love their Shoyu Ramen! Milky, creamy, rich broth! Pork cheek is tender, melt in your mouth! Always a line-up... try off hours!
- William NgAugust 29, 2014I've had Santouka in KL and I must say that this is much better. I tried the Shio and I loved it. Go early to avoid the queues.
- Nina NguyenSeptember 28, 2014Amazing ramen that comes in many varieties and in reasonable portions. Only place in Vancouver where tsuke-men (egg noodles ramen to dip in broth) is served.
- George ChangJune 18, 2012High quality Japanese ramen place that has made it to the west coast. Pork jowl tonkatsu ramen is my weapon of choice to defeat the noodle cravings. I still dream about that tonkatsu broth.
- Gaston Motola AcunaSeptember 26, 2017Well... supposedly one of the best ramen places in the world, I'm not a ramen fan but I agree, this is very good.
- Amy LuoSeptember 28, 2014Ramen is excellent! They also have "probably the best gyozas in Vancouver" and they are pretty great.
- ChiqDecember 30, 2015Worth the long lines! Miso ramen with toroniku! Would eat this everyday for the rest of my life! Recommend and will definitely come back!
- Stephen ChenApril 8, 2013We tried all the cha-shu ramen and loved the shio and the Kara miso. They offer combo meals that give you small rice bowl with salmon or pork
- Kara Miso Ramen all day... Make sure to ask for garlic on the side and drop some in. You'll like the balance it gives the ramen broth.
- Toshio NNovember 25, 2015Delicious ramen. Price was decent. Hard to find seating though. Try not to go in a big party (4+) during dinner hours
- This place usually has a line (especially on a rainy day). Not the place to come when you're already starving. But man is the ramen good. Almost as good as in Japan.
- JessicaApril 26, 2016Long line ups for lunch! Make sure all the members of your party are here to get a seat. Washrooms are dirty
- meruJanuary 31, 2012Shio Ramen was great! One of the best Ramen in Vancouver! They close at 11 pm and they only take cash or debit for payment.
- Natalie VJanuary 30, 2017Both tsukemen and shio ramen were good. We were here late (around 1030) so no wait.
- Cameron BaillieDecember 28, 2017Kara miso was great, the custard pudding was the bomb, liquid caramel goodness.
- Shawn ParkinsonAugust 7, 2014This is luxury ramen. The shio broth is unbelievable. Get the large serving for $1 extra.
- decky_2012August 19, 2012Last year, I found this good ramen restaurant. And I've just been to there in this year. Very crowed and logn ques.
- My Canada PaydayJune 20, 2013The winter tantanmen is probably the best single food item in the city. Too bad it's not year-round.
- Cris J.June 27, 2013Shio Ramen tasty but too salty for me. Kimchi was really good, just a little spicy. Look for Santouka sign, otherwise u will not find it
- Nada ChanJanuary 18, 2013Toroniku is definitely better then the chat siu! But the miso soup base is very very salty...and I'm still incredibly thirsty :( didn't think it was all that great.
- Jessica ChauSeptember 25, 2011My favourite ramen in Vancouver. They specialize in shio broth, and the pork is melt-in-your-mouth tender.
- Darren LoMay 29, 2010Their broth is to die for. It is a tad bit pricier for their combos but with their broth you can't really blame them! I am definitely going back for mor
- So. Good. Their ramen portion is smaller than most other places. If you're still hungry, try their cha-shu rice.
- RichelleMabellJuly 24, 2012Shio ramen was comforting and delicious. Great flavours and nicely balanced.
- Delicious! I'd say it's on par to Kintaro. Plus they have combo sets! Gyoza & Tofu Salad are great too!
- Amazing ramen and cha-shu gohan. Order a combo of ramen and donburi if you can't decide. Upgrade size of the combo's ramen for $2 more.
- Kara Miso Ramen with Green Onion Bonito Rice and a plate of Gyozas. Do it!
- Rachel LamAugust 14, 2012Best ramen I have ever had!!! Can't wait until they open in Toronto in October 2012!!!!
- Toroniku is the best! I always add an egg. Unfortunately, Santouka does not do take-out.
- Toroniku shio Ramen is far the best Shio Ramen in town.
