Very cozy and cleanairport. Use Orlyval and metro to get to the city or from the city. In duty free zone there is PlayStation console to play a free game. Enjoy!
Nice cleanairport with really good concessions, HOWEVER Iberia and Vueling do not have check in kiosks. Prepare for GIANT lines. Holler when you are a hour out from your flight or you will miss it.
It's one of those airports that is not beautiful, but I find it very efficient. Way more than CDG! I like it and always prefer to fly there when going to Paris
One of the best airports I have ever seen, with xboxes, games, arcades and stuff. The only thing is, you don't have time to play with them as all the queues are way too long.
Paris’s second main airport. Served by many airlines with a good selection of destinations! However it doesn’t have a direct service to/from Paris which is a bit of a pain...
Orly Sud is still terrible at the time I’m writing this, almost 2018. Orly Ouest, however, underwent a redesign inside and is both pleasant and efficient.
The most modern airport I’ve experienced as of 2023. Clean and spacioustoilets, automated gates, the food options (the McDonalds is a different experience) and even an arcade at some gates (like A)
New Orly looks superb! Ps3, cool designed space and furniture, modern and stylish. Look at the toilets, is better then in my house. Thanks to developers of this!
According to the schedule, last Orlybus at 00:30 (ALWAYS late), but you're 100% won't be alone (the line is enormous), so you will probably miss that one (in this case - les cars)
Very very nice Laduree presence. Lots of power (only EU and not by USB) locations and wifi options (15 min free, AirFrance and orange also can be gotten )
If you’re getting food pre security, give yourself ample time to get through the security checkpoint. Wait times are very high and there is no organization of the queues.
OrlyBus service takes you to city and you can request a stop before the final terminus. Stop near the peripherique and you can get an Uber to your final destination.
Read Paris worldwide magazine from Aéroport de Paris IT pro vides really interesting insights ... It is actually much more than a free mag with good quality articles
The Wi-Fi connexion is pretty slow, but at least is free and unlimited. OrlyVal costs 9 € and OrlyBus 7,50 €. Probably best to take the OrlyVal, it's super fast (6 minutes from W, 8 from S).
I prefer this to Orly as it is smaller but the content is pretty much the same as at any bad french airport. Super touristy stores and a bad cafe. This one does have Paul and Starbucks at least
French guy at the Vueling ticket office was an a**hole, a guy from Argentina very fruendly helped us. Its amazing that they only make most announcements in french, wake-up france!!!
Parisians seem to like their airports old, hot, and difficult to get around. Even if you want to take an Uber you may face a train ride — drivers seem to be in short supply. Take the Orlyval.
Parts of the terminal got renovated but still lot of work has to be done to make this a decent airport. Expect (very) long security lines and a high chance for a bus ride to the plane.
Airport itself is rather small, with not many restaurants or benches to sit down. But - there is a fine place for waiting at the top floor - a viewing terrade
best solution to reach Paris is the "navette air France" that will take you to monparnasse or Charles de gaulle étoile in less than 60 minutes. use other transportation to change airport.
If you land late, your plane will be parked far from the terminal, so you'll get on a bus to the terminal. Adds an extra 30 mins to your arrival time, it's like stepping back into the 1980's.
BEFORE checkin, go to taxrefund, ground 0, btw halls, near gate H. If it's empty, use the phone on the counter. Don't forget to take some PROOF OF FLIGHT RESERVATION, either printed or electronic.
This is an Air France Hub. Used it to get to Disneyland Paris, with my daughter, nephews and nieces. Technologically speaking, pretty advanced, at the time of the visit.
Free wi-fi. Air France operated from west terminal. Low cost airlines like easyjet from south terminal. Security check is quite quick. CDG to here via AF bus 3.
Plenty of scammers offering fake taxi services. Official taxis are outside the airport, follow the signs and don't stop or listen to people offering taxis
You must be get ready to wait at the passport queue when you are exiting the airport at least 2 hours. Of course if you are a NON-EU citizen, then you face this reality!!!
