Even on a busy day like Memorial Day, if you are willing to walk a bit you can find a nice, quite spot of beach. Water is great for swimming. If you're looking for waves, head to the Atlantic.

Clam Pass is like two adventures in one stop - take the tram ride on the boardwalk to and from the beach. You'll find concessions and a casual restaurant along with chair and umbrella rentals.

Pine Ridge Rd west becomes Seagate Dr to the end becomes Clam Pass Park. Pay $6 park, load FREE trolley - all arms and legs inside and enjoy a 3/4 mile ride thru mangroves to the GulfofMexico. Read more

Come before 10am or you will be walking or waiting a while for the tram. There were 2-3 trams and they carry 7 adults.

Nice private little beach. A small boardwalk takes you to a restaurant. Many shells.

The sand fleas are out for blood today. Never have I been attacked so badly. Hopefully it is due to the very fresh rainfall. We will see tomorrow

Long long wait for the trolley. Beach full of people with not a dpace where to sit. Almost no sand. Horrible.
