- Can't have a descent food after the last inspection. You can find Starbucks on the way to Bldg B. I'm sure you would want to have a coffee and relax a bit at least, because your flight is delayed!
- If you are taking international flight, advise you to have dinner before going through customs as there are limited food in the departure area, pacific coffee closes early too.

- Leftie WNovember 6, 2018One of the best Airport in China, very efficient Immigration and custom, they are few good restaurants upstairs, local brand Kunfu is worth trying, their set Chinese menu is value for money.
- Been delayed on every Chinese flight this year. Now with a Typhoon approaching everything is on time. My tip? Avoid flying in good weather.

- Gunawan TedjoJuly 1, 2014The airport is so huge. And if you are going in the Shenzhen city pick the red taxi. Not the green one, the green taxi only come a few and you will take a lot of time then the red one. Waste your time
- Tommy YangAugust 6, 2014Baggage system is efficient here. My checked baggage is already there when I reached the baggage claim. Then again, the walk from gate to baggage claim is not that short.
- The new terminal is big and nice, and to my surprise when i got to the boarding gate 5 mins before the boarding time everyone was on the plane already! No announcement of early boarding either.

- Fish SunDecember 28, 2011Nowhere to find any power outlet through the entire airport. Old airport facility and you have to figure out the red or green cabs thing.
- New T3 has tons of food options after security: Burger King, Starbucks, Subway (hidden near gate 13), a few local options, and Honeymoon Desserts.

- At departure, ltd of folks miss the fact that there are two food courts, 1 in each side. If you’re are fan of KFC go left. If you’re a McDonalds’ or subway fellow go right.

- Banana maticFebruary 20, 2014If you plan on using the Metro to get to or from the airport, build in some extra time. You have to take a free airport bus to/from the Metro station, and the lines for the bus can get quite long.
- Routine: checkin and purchase a latte in Starbucks until boarding time. (For SZairlines) Gate starts from 22 after Starbucks, gates >27 will take a 5min walk to reach from Starbucks.
- Beautiful airport, not many international flights available though and there is not shops selling local SIM cards here
- Never take international flight needs transfer inside China, or when there is a choice from Hong Kong airport. the flights often delay by weather condition while no any problem in Hong Kong.

- You can get bus to metro station from Gate E after coming out of arrivals. Bus number M416, it's fast and super cheap 😜. Welcome to Shenzhen ! 😏

- JernejFebruary 21, 2015The new Terminal 3 looks very nice, lots of shopping/food options. If you have Chinese phone you can get access to free wifi via SMS.
- Could be the busiest airport in China, crowded already at 7am, and still busy around 12pm! There is a special security line for frequent travelers.

- The old terminals A & B are closed now. If you come by subway, exit at Hourui station and take shuttlebus to new terminal 3

- Taxi queues are very common in the evening, better speed up after reaching arrival hall;)
