- Great park with a lot of nice benches. Here you can relax and enjoy silence and a good book. Centrally located in the city centre. Not very safe at nights though.
- Gaelle LoAugust 27, 2013The front side offers a nice view over Karl Johan's Gate. The back side is very romantic with its irregular shape, green short grass, small pond, and big trees.
- Stephen 🥞🍱🍣🍛🍜🍘🍟🍔🥨🍰🥑July 28, 2018Very nice park with the Royal Palace at the centre and the gardens surrounding it. There’s also a pond on the northern side of the park.
- Manja KochannekAugust 18, 2014Very nice park. When the weather is nice, you can take a long stroll or sit on a bench and enjoy the water fountains or the gardens.
- Al B.November 10, 2018Beautiful during the fall. Experience the little monuments nearby as well as the Royal Palace.
- Marius KristoffersenNovember 3, 2015Lie on the grass just below the Norwegian Royal Castle and take a sneak peek into the lives of the passerby. Maybe you will catch the National Guard switching positions.
- drew tarvinMay 11, 2015Face one direction and see the "castle" (it's just a building...); face the other and see downtown Oslo.
- A great place to stay on sunny days in the center of Oslo. Not to crowdy and very nice
- Paolo ANovember 27, 2015"si prega di calpestare il prato e abbracciare gli alberi". È quello che viene raccomandato sui cartelli del parco: fantastico!!
