- Lydia BerkennouOctober 5, 2015Very crowded during busy period. Also you will get people asking you thousand of times if you want a massage or a mojito.. But still a great place to be when you have enough of the cityUpvoted 3 weeks ago
- Alvin TienOctober 2, 2014More tourists come here but there're people offer massage €10 for 15 mins. Great way to unwind after walking all day. Have some outdoor workout area as well if you fancy a workoutUpvoted Mar 23
- Charlee BangsSeptember 13, 2016The most crowded beach in Barcelona due to it’s location at the Barceloneta metro stop – it’s reachable on foot in 20-30 min from center. This naturally leads to an abundance of sellers and litter.Upvoted 1 week ago
- LolaNovember 24, 2015Great place to stop for a midday nap after long walking through the city. Topless or wearing clothes, doesn't bother anybody. Early afternoons with the sun going down have an amazing atmosphere!
- RAKANApril 12, 2023Beautiful lovely beach 🏖️ nice atmosphere. The beach offers a wide variety of activities, restaurants, and bars. but the beach can be crowded and noisy. Especially on summer😕
- Shaileshwori SharmaJanuary 30, 2016Beautiful beach (with 20 degree Celsius temperature in first week of January) made it a great place to shrug off winter layers & catch on Vitamin D. Tip: laze around w/ beer, watching sunset & people.
- Probably my preferred place in the magic city of Barcelona. Enjoy so much running or skating along the beach. If you feel so you can rent a paddle board in one of the 2 skate shops.
- Sweaty Fat bloke BlokeSeptember 5, 2018Firstly the good points. Very clean, quality soft sand and plenty of topless for women, the bad points.... People constantly annoying you asking to sell water, beer, clothes, massage or towels.
- Ahmadreza GhaniNovember 29, 2016Probably the best beach in Barcelona. Big, lovely and clean. But if u are looking for no touristy places, it would be your last choice.
- Silke Van CauwenbergheJuly 11, 2017The beach is nice to go to. You can eat and drink in bars near the beach. One very annoying part: there are a lot of guys who constantly pass by and shout:sangria, mojito,... it really annoyed me!
- Stu TysonMay 28, 2016Very nice beach! Can get crowded and touristy, but still a good vibe. Great beach bars!
- This is a very touristic beach, besides the crowds, you have a beautiful beach very close to the old town with many facilities.
- Rusty ShacklefordSeptember 16, 2016Nice beach! Water was clean. Crowded but what do you expect in a city like Barcelona. Good locker room and place to lock your stuff up
- Grazyna OAugust 13, 2014Really love the atmosphere. nice for sun, swimming, walking, thinking... Peaceful place. Easy to park your car in the parking garage across the street. Walking distance from city center.
- Chris CaricatoJuly 26, 2016Great beach with warm, clear water (here in July) with no current. There's a lifeguard and plenty of places to get cheap mojitos! Very crowded but if you don't mind it's great
- Stacy Bo BacyMay 28, 2019Pleasant to have swim in and great for just staring into from the sand. I appreciate the outdoor showers nearby.
- Жанна СеменоваJanuary 5, 2016Quiet during December and January and that's the best thing about it in slow season. Perfect for a run too!
- Apartment BarcelonaOctober 18, 2012The beautiful Barceloneta Beach...chiringuitos, delectable dining and even some amazing art! Be sure to check out the prominent 'Golden Fish'...an alternative to Gaudí! Read more
- FarnazSeptember 25, 2016Lovely one, don't miss it! Full of vendors selling beers and beach stuff at an agreeable price, so no worries if you're not well equipped 😉
- Nati GJuly 11, 2018Very many people there, prickly sand, rocky bottom. You should go 500 meters and you will find nice beach Nova Icària with soft sand and sand bottom. There are not so many people as on Barceloneta.
- Charly PNovember 6, 2016Nice beach. Amazing to be able to see that at 20 minutes walking from Placa Catalunya. Try to avoid the week end... Too busy
- Steve KinneySeptember 12, 2017This beach is very rocky. I prefer the sand at some of the beaches to the north, but its vibrant and alive and people walk down the beach selling mojitos, sangria, and beer.
- sesimJune 30, 2016Love the good vibes around! Would prefer the other beaches for swimming but this is the best to hang around with friends!
- Truman W.June 14, 2017Tons of noisy tourists, so it's a great spot if you're into that sort of thing! Otherwise, I'd recommend another beach!
- GayCityTrips comSeptember 26, 2015Barceloneta is not a only gay beach. Its mixed. But is very gayfriendly and you can find a lot of hot guys here. Its clean and nice here.
- Max WendkosJune 19, 2019The beach is unimpressive, but it's worth taking a stroll or riding a bike along the boardwalk if the weather's nice.
- Aziz NJune 6, 2019I could stay there for a full day and would never get enough of it. Has everything you need. Now I know where Dubai beaches were inspired from.
- Serdar GüvenAugust 14, 2013Full of young people and it makes me feel up! The sea is not the best ive ever seen but i like this place anyway
- Yusuf BuğbulMarch 17, 2014Even tho' it was in November, still make you feel like swimmin! You should definitely come here and take a rest for a while as you listen to the sound of the waves
- Amit GaharwarDecember 19, 2014Awesome beach! Great views! Free wi-fi. Look for "W" signs for the free Barcelona council wi-fi!
- It's a must in Barcelona, however this is not the best beach around. Lot of tourists, and people doing work out.
- Channing GarciaApril 20, 2019So pretty! Lovely walk along the beach. Many people selling tourist items. Wish there were less. But the beach was lovely.
- Jimin YooMarch 21, 2013No need to bring snacks/drinks. Every few minutes someone will walk by offering beer, water and even massages.
- TiffyMay 3, 2018Nice beach, very crowded. Vendors selling beach towels - a but of bargaining involved. I didn't buy one but a group got it down to 7 euros
- Remo MalarikApril 14, 2017Now this is where you go if you want to get to the water. Huge beach, really quite long and cool to either chill at, go swimming, or just for a stroll.
- Kris TinSeptember 19, 2018the sea is still fairly warm in mid september and the beach is not too crowded.
- Kim FokkelmanSeptember 14, 2014Not as crowded as I espected it to be, nice! But don't leave your belongings unattended, there are a lot of 'vendors' who try to sell you mojito's and beer. They run away when cops are showing up.
- Марина ШимченкоJune 24, 2019A lot of partiets around all the time! Too many people, but clean enough, there are free toilets and good coffee!

- Cenk GümüşcüoğluMay 26, 2019An average beach but the proximity to the city center makes it a jewel. Beware of robbers, don’t leave your belongings unattended.
- Perfect beach for enjoying summer in Barcelona. Visit one of the beach bars and try Espiga beer.
- Alexandros StamatelatosDecember 4, 2016A very nice walk besides the beach! There were many surfers which was odd since we visited late November.
- NikkaJanuary 29, 2015Most famous spot for local people & even tourists through all the year. You can relax, admire modern architecture monumets, sit on the sand with icecream and watch birds on the sea.Great mix of cultures.
