    Great for sunrise and sunsets. Among the few places in India from where Mt. Everest can be seen. Expect big crowds in the morning. For tripod setups, might be better to go really early.

    A great place to be.. specially for sun rise. The view of mighty kanchenjunga is breath taking from here. Even the tip of Mt. Everest is visible during the clear weather..just 4 km from Ghoom.

    Get here early for a better view from the front. ₹40 for the best seats on top. ₹10 for parking fee. Check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey.

    Best to avoid hard core winter periods especially end Dec to mid Jan to avoid being denied the pleasure of the Kanchenjunga sunrise experience due to mist/fog etc.

    Go go go. And bring warm clothes. The investment of 50 rupies to go up the top is worth it
