This islet is absolutely stunning. Weddings are held here and in Slovenian tradition the husband rows his wife across the lake and carries her up 99 stairs to the church.

Cute, worth a visit if only to experience the boatride. It's easily explored in 15 minuted maximum, the rest you can relax in the cafe at the top or by the lake at the bottom until your boat trip back

The view from boat going to this island is awesome if there is a clear sky. The view and nature is good but the view at the tower is really bad and to pay for church abd this is really mindless!

Go: The Baroque Church, there's a myth, pull the rope on the church bell in front of the altar & make a wish, it ring 3xs then your dreams will come true. Ok, I pulled & wished = 🙏 will come true

2 get here: row or be rowed. In summer, adventurous ones will swim to the island( I would too, 14 euros is outrageous for Pletna) You are given only 40 mins by the oarsman 2 xplore. Too short 4 me.

It is absolutely amazing. Definitely worth visiting. Don’t just take photos on the coast but make sure you@go there.

Take a rowing boat across to the island to visit the church. Be sure to ring the bell for good luck.

Beautiful island...magicly clear water...somewhere like a natural aquarium with fish...on the island you can ring a wish bell...for only 6 Eur,..nice tourist trap

Take a traditional "Pletna" boat to the island and ring the bell in the church for good luck! You cannot enter the church in your swimsuit.

In summer it's nice to swim to the island and then take some time of complete relaxation and meditation before swimming back to the civilization.

Don't take a pletna boat - rent your own and row across! Shorter boat trip if you rent from town of Mlino so you won't get tired
