See this photo. Now multiply it by 1000! The history of this island was that it was once home to a poison gas plant during the war. Save some money and buy some carrots and lettuce ahead of time.

Do you like bunnies? Do you like wandering ruins of former poison gas factories? Then this is the island for you! Just remember to bring wet wipes in case a bunny urinates on your leg.

Before you go the ferry, stop by the Family Mart next door and pick up a bunny food set (2 bags of cabbage, 2 bags of pellets and a cup of cut carrots) for 500 yen. 🐰

It was a rainy day so all bunnies were hiding or looked like wet rats. The island is definitely not for rainy days!

Unfortunately, official announced some rabbits in the island have ticks. Stroking rabbits is not recommended.

島に上陸する前にキャベツを一玉買っておくといいかもしれません島内のうさぎに餌やりしつつ回ると案外無くなりますまたうさぎだけではなく毒ガス関連施設の跡もなかなか見どころです廃墟等好きだとたまらないです

鳥獣保護区であるという建て付けなので島内でエサを買うことは出来ませんのであらかじめ用意しましょう。たくさんいますから持って行きすぎでは？というくらい持って行って丁度良いくらいだと思います。夜行性なので暗くなってからが楽しいかと。

2015/5/8毎日放送「ひるおび」YGP山本Gプロジェクト：現場・人気廃墟の中でウサギが遊ぶ観光客急増大久野島、山本匠晃訪問。はじまりは1971年に島外の小学校が放したアナウサギ8羽、野生化し現在約700羽。第一・二次世界大戦時まで毒ガス生産拠点、一般的な地図には記載されない島だった。

🐰うさぎまみれになれる島。ただし、うさぎの楽園を守るために、持ち込んだ餌が余ったら持ち帰る、うさぎを抱かない、バスの通る車道では餌はやらない、など、島のルールは必ず守ること。

最近はSNSなどでどんどん人気になってきたようです。GWに行ったのですが、船は三時間以上待ちました。ですが、行きの船ではくたびれて寝ている人が多かったですが、帰りの船はみんな笑顔。うさぎパワーすごいです。

平成 30 年 7 月の集中豪雨で、山間部の遊歩道のいくつかが崩落して通行止めになっています。2020 年 3 月現在、南部砲台や中央砲台などの山間部の遺構のいくつかにはアクセスできません。

この島はウサギの島で有名ですが、ウサギの方も人間の餌に慣れてるところがあって立ちどまってるとウサギの方からよってくることも少なくない。

自然、兎、毒ガス資料館と充実。人を見ると寄ってくるような懐っこいウサギさんがたくさんでおすすめです。ウサギのためにも、注意事項は必ず守ってあげてください。

うさぎ島として有名ですがかつては毒ガスを生産していました。当時の史跡が沢山残ってるので時間があれば巡ってみるのもオススメです。
