The ferry came every 10-15 min so no rush. There are friendly wild deers around that would approach you (looking to nibble on something of course so be careful of your papers)

Go around Christmas -- it's not busy and you can enjoy everything (Itsukushima Shrine, Mt. Misen, eating oysters, taking photos with the deer, etc) without getting annoyed by the crowds.

A must see. Ferry is run by JR. Try to go up up to see the entire view :) in Sakura season is also beautiful

Take a look at the famous shrine and take your new desktop wallpaper picture! Check on the tides before you go, the shrine is not always sitting in the water! Also check the rope way!

観光で他地方から来られる方へ。宮島へ渡るフェリーの料金を交通系ICカードで払うためにはPASPYかICOCAどちらかの種類が必須です。例えば、Suicaを持っていても現金で切符を購入して乗る必要があります。

下船してから神社まで結構距離があります。行きは海沿いの道路、帰りは商店街を通ったほうがオススメです。他にもロープウェーがあったりもします。

人間慣れした鹿さんは、とても穏やか。というか、あまりやる気が感じられない、常に眠そうだ笑。あとは、センベイを食べながら歩いてる人を執拗に追い回しているのは、大変微笑ましく。

المكان جداً جداً جداً جميل ❤️ ، أهم مايميز المكان المعبد العائم وتأثره بنظرية الجزر والمد .. في أوقات من السنة سترى معبد عائم على الماء وفِي أوقات اخرى سترى المعبد يقف كما هو !

Se siete a Hiroshima, non potete non visitare Miyajima. Treno e traghetto (coperti dal JR Pass) e si arriva sull'isola.

お店は現金決済のみのところも多いので、現金はやや多めに持っていった方が良い。世界遺産の観光地なのだから、島としてクレカ、電子マネーに対応してほしい。
