Jennifer HardiAugust 30, 2014There is a port with fast boats to transfer you to nusa lembongan and other places as well. Low tide can be tricky, you need to walk a bit on shallow water to get onto boat. Wear suitable clothes
Catsi CatalanNovember 20, 2018Sanur is a small port and passengers will need to soak feet on water upon departure. It is also an option to directly book a ferry ride at the port and find a local driver upon reaching Nusa Penida.
Sanur beach is one of the best spot to watch sunrise. And if you’re catching up a boat to Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan or Nusa Ceningan, you may find various speed boats in reasonable prices.
Known for its sunrises, Sanur is also has beautiful sunsets. You do not see the sun setting here in Sanur, but the gentle color in the sky and its reflection in the water is stunningly gorgeous.

Many local people visit this black sands beach. Try 'Lumpia' and 'Jagung Bakar'! It's really good after swimming or just sitting around.

Sanur Beach is a coastal stretch of beach of Denpasar city of southeast Bali, about 30 minutes drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. In the past, Sanur Beach was the entry point for the Dutch troops (1906) and Japanese forces during World War II.
